I setup gmail account on MT4 successfully.. Setup email account form Tools --> Options --> Email (Tab)

I am using my metatrader build 625 with my gmx mail account and getting the following errror message:
"Mail: 550 Insufficient security or privacy level"
It is necessary to turn on Encryption STARTTLS or TLS
How can I do that with the metatrader mail settings?
My smtp-server is "mail.gmx.net:587"

There are multiple reports of problems with new metatrader and email. So far metaquotes did not issue any official reason why are people having problems with emails and they do not have problems with push notifications
Been looking at metatrader site and there is no single word about this error (I have it too, btw)
Does that mean that we have to use push notifications? But I do not want it
Been reading that a lot of people are having problems with certain type of email servers. Probably email security issues that metatrader did not solve
Has anyone been able to get the email function working on MT4 using hmailserver or with some other method?
