that is exactly how I would trade...breakout or retracement...simple!...one or the other...trend is your friend...unless it goes the other way...follow the crowd...even when crowd is wrong...

Since people still seem to be looking at this thread. Attached is BBDelta, which is Bollinger Bandwidth as a histogram which multicolored candles for direction of trend within the bands.
