actually i have done 2 EA before, which 1 is open source(mq4), one is only ex4

but i found a Russian and a Chinese sold my project with it's own name !!

which make me feel unpleasant !

and for this EA Steady Growth, it's performance is better than last 2 i did,

so i decided this EA no longer open source

ICIC. I can understand how u feel.

Me myself is a EA developer and also wish that my work is not sold commercially by other people.

Hi Kelly

Sorry for being so thick but I didn't understand that you were updating your first post. I thought the whole point of a thread was that you start at the beginning and reached a working conclusion at the end so I didn't go back and look at the start. I downloaded the 2008 redistributable code and now it runs.

Here is a run on Interbank demo for the last 2 weeks. So it finished about 10% up but it was 30% down at points. PF=1.06.

If I was you I would go to all the major Forex forums and post your EAs that are being sold explaining the situation and suggesting people should download them for free rather than pay for them that would scupper the scoundrels profits.

Thanks

Hi Kelly here is test on same period as yours. Why does it not trade shorts?

It didn't really progress much so I think you have the steady bit right but not the growth :)

Hi Kelly running control points on same period is completely different this you could call growth.

Maybe you should try and mimic its behaviour.
