I just uploaded a version that allows to define sessions start/end time with minutes presition, HH:mm format. Also is possible to use New York timezone offset(-5) or any other as clock time.

Noté que el desplazamiento automático en el gráfico, se activa por alguna razón cunado el reloj está visible en pantalla. Cuando se desactiva el reloj, el desplazamiento automático puede desactivarse también. Lo curioso es que no se puede desactivar de ninguna manera mientras el reloj está visible.

Hey I would like to leave a feedback after using this for a while. It would be a nice feature to add alert say 15 mins before a market close or open and be able to put user's own alert by time or timer. The timer alert can be used to warn a few minutes before major news events. Thanks

I'm currently short on time while working on other projects. More features for this indicator will be added to the Market Session Times PRO version in upcoming updates, which currently allows up to 7 customizable sessions, minute presition open/close times, alerts, custom timezone. Free version will update only to fix bugs from now on.

firstly, I would like to thank you for your excellent work so far.

I have installed the latest version of your indicator (the free version) - unfortunately, it appears to me to be stil buggy.

The times for the exchanges are calculated wrongly. 

The official trading hours for Frankfurt are 08:00 - 20:00 and not 08:00 - 16:00 as it is displayed on my chart.

Also, I'm kind of missing parameter to define the time zone. Using the GMT/UTC the indicator still won't know where I am (if in Frankfurt it will be UTC-4) right?

The opening time will however be calculated correctly - the closing time is set to 16:00 instead of 22:00

Your info box - Market Sessions Time also shows GMT - 2 hours (this doesn't correspond with the real time in the time zone).

Please consider this as feedback - I do understand that this is a free version and you may not be interessted in making it perfect - however, I very much like your idea!

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Yes this version is distributed free and the support is limited. 

I can't be sure without seeing the inputs and screenshot of the chart, but I suppose the problems you see are related to the 'Time mode' you have setted on the indicator and the open/close time inputs. In this free version, the hours you set on the indicator inputs will work depending the time mode you choosed, either GMT, the chart time, or your computer time, so its needed to convert them manually from the original session timezone to one of these times modes. On the Pro version you can use a specific timezone UTC offset for the sessions open/close times

• " The official trading hours for Frankfurt are 08:00 - 20:00 and not 08:00 - 16:00 as it is displayed on my chart." The time displayed in the chart is the time your broker provide, it could be any timezone. If you choose this time mode, the sessions open/close times will be coherent with the chart.  If you choose other time mode, it may be different.  
• "Using the GMT/UTC the indicator still won't know where I am (if in Frankfurt it will be UTC-4) right?". In this free version, the GMT/UTC mode will only use the times inputs for GMT/UTC 0, with not offset. If you want the session open/close times to work with UTC-4 you need to choose GMT mode and manually substract 4 hours to the times you want to use. On the Pro version, you can set UTC-4 to use it automatically
• "the closing time is set to 16:00 instead of 22:00".  8-16 its a 8 hours period long wich is setted by default for Frankfurt, if you want it to last 12 hours you have to modify the settings according the time mode you choosed
• "Your info box shows GMT - 2 hours (this doesn't correspond with the real time in the time zone)". If you selected GMT time mode, it should show the current GMT 0 hour. To correspond with the chart or your computer, select on of these time modes. To correspond with Frankfurt timezone, is not possible in the free version but possible in the Pro version
  

Thanks for using the indicator

The indicator is great.

However, when the weekend comes and the broker time stops working the indicator has some glitches. My time is set to GMT default.

Sometime saved templates with the indicator included will have the sessions incorrect and if you remove the indicator some incorrect session coloured segments remain with no way to remove them. If you correct the timing by altering your local computer time you will get overlapping sessions/colours.

It is possible to manually adjust the local computer time to make the indicator on a new chart work as intended, however this does not help charts with the indicator already running.

I have not been able to find a work around and have to wait until trading resumes for the sessions to go back to normal.

The indicator is not prepared to be saved on templates. Right now this free version will be rarely updated except to fix some bugs on its current features, but templates support could not be included.

To better execution, it's better to set the time mode on the first moment the indicator is loaded to the chart.

PRO version has a button to reset and redraw, in case there are incorrect graphics on current or from previous execution.

As a temporary solution, I would recommend you to remove the indicator from the chart before to save the template. Then on the new chart, load the template and then the indicator again.

This version is not longer being modified. Further updates and additional features will be focused on Market Sessions Time PRO version.

In case the text is making problems on the chart, the sessions names labels can be turned 'OFF' on the initial settings and set a custom color to each session to identify them.
