First make sure that you've put MT5 >> Tools >> Options >> Charts >> Max Bars in Chart >> 1000.

Then restart your MT5 terminal and attach the Matrix Arrow Indicator and EA on the chart again, if the problem still persists, check the Experts tab of your Toolbox window for any messages or errors.

First off, I want to say that the Matrix Arrow EA works beautifully and with the added bonus of the Passive Income Project it's impressive.  One thing I've noticed though is that some of the time when a position is open and in profit and takes longer to hit TP, it gets caught with the opposite trend and hits SL.  I think this can be avoided by having the EA adjust the SL to be in between the entry price and the current price so that even if the position gets wind of a reversal, the position will be protected from a loss?  Can this feature be added?

Hello, I've made tests and optimizations that show that it is better in the long run, to leave room for larger profit and close the running positions on exit or opposite signal, but as you say lately the market changes trend every few hours, turning profits into losses very quickly. The option to avoid that is already available, is either a break even or a trailing stop loss setting. Most of the standard Matrix Arrow EA set files already have trailing stop loss in % of ADR settings, but the Passive Income Project set files don't have. I advise you to contact me through PM to find the right settings for you.

My current recommendation is to test and trade only these set files GBPJPY, GBPUSD, US500, XAUUSD with a low 0.5% to 1% risk per trade and not all set files, because the other remaining symbols are not performing well lately.

This time in my tests I kept the default Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5 settings as a base and I optimized only the timeframe, trading hours and TP/SL levels in order to minimize the overfitting effects.

Please remember to test these provided set files in your MT5 strategy tester every couple of months and trade only those that perform well in the past 2-3 months.

Also if you are planning to trade more than 2-3 of those set files I strongly advise you to lower the risk % setting to 0.5% or 1% per symbol.

Hi i have matrix indicator and matrix arrow EA, it opens trade but not on every arrow, is it suppose to open a trade on all the arrows?

Hello Marc, if you are trading with my provided set files, no the EA doesn't open trades on all arrows, because if you see the trading hours, it doesn't trade 24 hours a day, so it opens only on the arrows that are within the trading hours and also are filtered by the Moving Average filter wherever is used.

For the Matrix Arrow EA MT5 my current recommendation is to trade only these set files AUDUSD, BTCUSD, EURUSD, JP225, NZDJPY, USDCAD, USTEC/NASDAQ with a low 0.5% to 1% risk per trade.
