In 'Delta Entry' mode - when we open a position not immediately after the signal but when the price passes through the reference level - we enter on a greater impulse than when entering on the next candle after receiving the signal.

Yes, we may lose some profit with this approach, but, first, we filter out (skip) weak flat price movements. And secondly, we can set a shorter Manual SL - again, due to the impulse when opening a position.

How I would recommend preparing your working chart for this work scenario:

1) Do a first optimization in 'Reversal Close' mode. This will help the system do the calculation of various settings in a more universal (adaptable) close mode

2) If you are happy with the resulting WR%, then try switching to 'Manual SL' mode and set an estimated fixed loss level that you'll want

3) In this case, the WR% will decrease, and it is desirable to choose such SL that it will be a protective order for your position while not losing the result too much

4) After that, you can start the optimization again with already activated Manual SL, so that the indicator system will try to adjust the obtained results to the new data

заметил такую странность: система считает не все «стоп-лоссы». после оптимизации мы видим 2 лосса, а при прокрутке истории их 10.

And what is this challenge that we haven't heard of - we have to do without something? So, we can do without optimization and all other features. But what's the point? I think it will be more productive to use what works and what the Market gives us at the moment.

I will make a small aside first. Look at what distinguishes indicators from expert advisors? No matter how the settings are configured, indicators still require the presence of a human – trader; who will make the final decision. Any indicator will require the trader to have certain experience and skills, as it is not a fully automated system. And if you are not willing to spend time on training and practice, why did you choose an automatic EA that (seems) supposed to do all the work for you? Although, in fact, advisors also require regular tuning, optimization, and many other nuances of working with them.

I have already recommended you a link to the indicator instructions, where there are also links and other materials with examples of working with the indicator and its settings. To solve various tasks, the indicator has many settings for flexible adaptation to your trading style. What if there were no built-in optimization module in the indicator, as in others? Then it would be impossible to set up at all? In general, however, the optimizer appeared in the Scalper Inside PRO indicator not that long ago, and before that, we actually did without it.

Let's talk a bit about the optimizer now. What my main target was when creating the optimization module in the indicator. Here is an example: when we first run the indicator on some financial asset, it's very difficult to determine how compatible the asset and the indicator settings are for trading. For instance, if a financial asset spends most of its time in a range (narrow price range), then since the Scalper Inside Pro indicator is trend-following, it will not be ideally suited for this instrument. However, you can still work with this instrument; you just need more experience for that. So, the optimization module was created to allow us to quickly assess the basic compatibility of the strategy and the financial asset, as well as find the most optimal settings for that financial asset. Then, if we see that the result and settings are not satisfactory, we need to adjust these settings, change the financial asset, or the strategy, or the timeframe.

As I have repeatedly written in my articles about the indicator, just because a particular financial asset is not satisfying today - meaning that some strategy within the indicator does not work well on it - that doesn't mean you should completely give up on this instrument for good. Markets and trends change, and you can return to this instrument later.

Now let's talk about the settings. Actually, there are many options and filters in the indicator that can be used for its fine-tuning and adaptation to different markets, financial assets, and timeframes. For example, even the entry in Delta Entry mode. By the way, "delta 5" is the difference between the key level and the level at which a position is opened (set in the settings). This allows us to filter out some signals that may appear on ranging markets or during low-volatility trading periods.

Next, let's talk about setting a fixed stop-loss. This can also be activated in the settings, allowing you to see how well it fits your trading style and financial asset. You can manually adjust it or use key levels.

And one moment more - As I mentioned earlier:

A little further on. Considering the trend-oriented nature of the indicator, I would recommend paying attention to trading times and trying to trade during the most volatile phases of the market. These are important trading sessions: European and New York.  

And also the HTF-Filter, if it turns against our position, we should be more cautious. All of this is already basic information- everything is repeatedly described in the manual and articles about the indicator.

And a small thought—perhaps unnecessary, but I want to share it with you. Just don't expect miracles from the indicator - it's still (I emphasize, "still") not the Grail (but we are getting there). The indicator has many options and settings - it is maximally flexible and convenient for use in different trading styles. It can become a good or even better assistant for you, just as it has already become for many of my clients. But the trader is you, and you make the decisions.
