Hi, does the advisor only work on the symbol it is actually attached to or is it able to handle orders across different symbols?
Hello.
This is not a multicurrency Expert Advisor. It only works on the current pair. However, you can change the magic numbers and run the advisor on different currency pairs separately.
Best Regards

Ok, thanks for the clarification.
Another question: Is it possible to add an option to start recovery at drawdown in percent of balance instead of a fixed value in money? At the moment I have to adjust the value continuously if I want your EA to kick in at e.g. 40% drawdown. A value in percent combined with the already existing option to stop all other EAs would be more relaxing in my opinion. The icing on the cake would be a push notification when your EA takes over :)

On the other hand most parameters are quite static and have to be calculated on the size of the losing position which of course varies related to the account size. So as long as all this has to be calculated individually each time my request makes no sense, I think. Unfortunately this limits the use of the EA in my opinion as it has to be managed manually and can't be run continuously as a safety net in the background.
Hi,
Hello.
As a rule, the EA will use this profit in the future to close unprofitable positions.
However, if you want to close the profitable part from the locked position. In this case, you need to disable the EA to close part of the position. After that, run the advisor again, but you need to disable locking when you restart the advisor. Because if locking is enabled, the EA will relock the position.
The locking function is in the " Use locking" input variables, you need to select "false".

Hello,
one more question :)
What is the function of the button "Close Profit"? It seems to do nothing, also not when there are average orders that are in profit.
Thanks for your help,
Holger

Hello.
This button is not for closing individual winning orders. This button allows you to close a profitable position, but it is only active when the entire basket of orders is in profit.

Hello.
I answered you with a personal message.

I have installed the EA, how EA does start, it's write Advisor in sleep mode, how I can put it in working mode.
Also, I have few open positions, does it take control over them?
Doesn't work.
Hello,
If the advisor does not recover existing orders, you need to do one of the following options:
1 - Set the "Magic for recovery (if used)" variable in the input settings to the value of the MagicNumber that you need to recover. That is, the Magic of the EA that made the drawdown. To restore an order opened manually in this variable, use the value "0".
2 - Set the "Work with selected MagicNumber" variable in the input settings to "false". Then the EA will work with absolutely all orders opened on the current symbol.
If "Work with selected MagicNumber" = "true", then AW Recovery will work only with same Magics, then the advisor will work only with certain MagicNumber, this is done in order to restore positions only from certain advisors.

Hi Alexander Nechaev. May you tell us when this MT5 version are going to be updated to include the "calculate the full commission for partial closings" input like the MT4 version?

Hello,
This feature of withdrawing commissions is due to the peculiarities of the MT4 terminal. That is, we added this function for the reason that the older terminal has similar nuances of order accounting.
This is due to the fact that in MT4 there is an order system, and in MT5 it is a positional system. That is, after partial closing in MT4, a new order is formed, from which the broker can withdraw an additional commission.
There is a position in the MT5 terminal and it is partially reduced due to transactions made as a result of sending orders; partial closing of a position does not provide for the formation of new positions with updated tickets. And in MT4, tickets are updated and can be perceived by the system as new orders, and not partially closed. That is, the MT5 terminal excludes the possibility of intentional or unintentional withdrawal of additional commissions by your broker.
To put it more simply, this function will not be available for the MT5 version, since the full commission cannot be withdrawed due to the deeper processing of market positions by the new terminal. The new terminal is better than the old one.
But I will note that the MT5 version will also be updated, but at the moment we are carrying out a general optimization of the code, the update will affect the system speed and economy of consumption of computer resources.
Thank you for good question.
