Actually, I figured out one of the issues, turns out I simply forgot to toggle on algo trading so orders couldn't be sent.
The remaining issue is now mostly UI-related and not being able to see or remember what some of the options are unless I hover for the tooltips.
Hi,
First off, thank you for building this nifty tool! Unfortunately, it is a bit funky on my end and the market/pending order buttons don't work either.
I suspect it has to do with being on Mac and, if it is, is this something that might be fixed in the future? I would love to be able to use it!
Thanks!
Hi,
Display problem occurs with MAC computers. You need a special version dedicated to a MAC. I sent the instructions in a private message.
If you set Trailing = 0% then the Stop will stay at the opening price because at any time 0% of the distance to TP will be 0. You should define Trailing in pips and it should be the size of your SL. If the initial SL in the trade is 18 pips then Trailing should also be set to 18 pips.
At 1: 1 program will close 50% of your profit and let the rest run till it stopped out or hit final TP.
got you, i was trying to set it so its automatic for each trade it calculates where the trail starts (because every trade sl pips is different) but i guess ill just do it manually with the pip amounts.
thank you!!

sorry for so many questions... and if i set the trailing to 100% wouldnt that be the same amount of pips of my stop loss? or not... just a little confused how that works.
No problem with a lot of questions. If something needs clarification, don't hesitate to ask.
This distance, for now, you have to set manually as the value in pips. When we add the "rr" unit in Trailing Stop, then you will be able to set all universal parameters for each order.
In the case of the Trailing parameter, it means the percentage of earned profit, i.e. in short, the TS function is to protect each time (at each stop shift) x% of the currently earned profit. For example, if we set the parameter trailing = 25%, then when we have profit = 40 pips, then the stop will be moved 10 pips from the opening price (25% of 40 pips = 10 pips).
If you set the parameter to 0%, then the stop will remain at the level of the opening price, while if you set it to 100%, the stop will be set at the minimum distance from the current price, as set by the broker (risk of immediate closing of the transaction after the Stop move).

Hi Janusz,
Would you mind to send me some tutorial dedicated to this indicator in Polish, Russian or English? Thanks.
All the best,
Roman

Hi Roman,
We are in the process of preparing one consistent Trade Manager user manual and it will be available on our blog soon. In the meantime, please refer to the existing materials:
See video #1 about basic functionality of Trade Manager: https://youtu.be/-OBT7FLBAvA
and see video #2 to know about trailing stop, break even and other functions: https://youtu.be/KEnipYrt8rA
Visit also our blog to read about partial closing function: https://investsoft.eu/blog/index.php/2020/08/14/trade-manager-partial-closing/
and find other articles at https://www.investsoft.eu/blog
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to write. We are happy to answer any of your questions.
Is it normal that with the last update it indicates it to me as a new activation?
As for activation, it is associated with the computer ID and a new program update never requires the use of another activation. Unless it coincided with a your computer hardware update or a major windows update. License (and activations) is managed by mql5.com. Unfortunately, as a seller, I cannot view your licenses, I do not know why the next activation was used and I cannot restore activation in any way. I can only guess that in the meantime your computer ID has been chagned but don't know what is a reason.
Only what I can advise in this situation is to contact "Service Desk" from your mql5.com account and request to restore the activation that was used e.g. after the Windows update (if such was the case).
Hello,
My name is Luis, I bought your product and I really like it, but I want to give you some fedback to make it even better!:
1- Bug: Risk calculator is not working when the secondary pair is not USD. Tried with EURJPY and it didn't work.
2- Improvement: Use a fixed Risk (Balance % or other), if the pending is already placed and I change the SL, accomodate the lit size according tot ne new SL. So its equivalent to delete the pending orden and create a new one.
3- Improvement: Make the partial Take Profit with horizontal lines, so we can move them and accomodate them. You have a nice UI but is not a good UX to write the number of pips.
Hope you take it into consideration,
Best regards,

Hello Luis,
Thanks for your feedback. We always carefully look at comments and suggestions from our clients.
ad. 1.
Please check if it displays the values in the account currency on SL and TP lines.
For example, if you have an account in USD, then to calculate the size of the EURJPY contract, you need quotation of the EURUSD and USDJPY pairs. Similarly, EURUSD and AUDUSD are needed for EURAUD. Check if you can see required pairs in Market Watch in the metatrader.
The 2nd thing to check is the prefix and suffix at symbol name. If you don't have any prefix / suffix in symbol name then try to disable autodetection of prefix and suffix in the program and check if it calculates a lot correctly for these pairs.
Press F7 to open the Trade Manager settings window and in the "------- PREFIX & SUFFIX ----------" section set the parameter "Auto detect" = FALSE.
ad. 2.
We will consider the option that instead of a simple SL modification of a pending order, the program simply recalculates the trade size and then if the lot changes, it will delete the current order and re-open it with a new lot.
Here we have to consider whether, in this case, where to show the new lot value and where to take the risk amount from. Do you use the main panel or add fields in the order panel?

Many traders ask about being able to set the partial close activation levels as well as the automatic Break Even and Trailing Stop activation levels by dragging lines on the chart. Yes, there will definitely be such an option added. We are currently finalizing the Trade Manager user guide and starting work on visualizing activation levels. In the meantime, there will be minor updates with new functions.
hi so I'm having trouble with this calculating the right lot size on some pairs. some work some don't? do you know what i can do to fix this?
Hi,
If you have an account in USD, then to calculate the size of the EURCAD contract, you need quotation of the EURUSD and USDCAD pairs. Similarly, EURUSD and AUDUSD are needed for EURAUD. Check if you can see required pairs in Market Watch in the metatrader.
The 2nd thing to check is the prefix and suffix at symbol name. If you don't have any prefix/suffix in symbol name then try to disable autodetection of prefix and suffix in the program and check if it calculates a lot correctly for these pairs.

Hello, is this program supported on cellphones.
Hello. The mobile version of metatrader 4/5 does not allow you to run any 3-rd party software such as scripts, indicators or Expert Advisors, therefore it is not possible to run the Trade Manager program on the metatrader platform for smartphones.
Hi,
Juat bought the 3 month test. A few questions:
- using close 50% seems to freeze the app (MT5 netted account)?
- is it possible to place limits and stops or only market orders?
Thanks,
M;

Hi,
When it comes to placing orders, it is possible to place both market orders and pending orders (after prior determination of levels on the chart using horizontal lines).
Here you will find a detailed description of how to place orders and how the individual program functions work:
https://investsoft.eu/blog/index.php/2021/11/30/trade-manager-user-manual
When it comes to closing part of the order and the computer freezes, check the event log in the "Experts" tab if there are any detailed information or error messages.

Perfect, many thanks for your quick reply Janusz!
I really like the product so far - should the close 50% button work also for MT5 netted accounts?
When i click it nothing happens, except that the terminal seems unresposive for a few seconds.
Only remaining question is about the close 50% not working. Thank you.
