Subject: Updated Set Files for Golden Tiger EA V1.39
Dear Clients,
Please find attached the updated set files for Golden Tiger EA V1.39.
The main adjustment is for the Low-Risk Set Files 1 and 2 — the “Gap Trading” feature has been disabled.
This change was made because trading during the daily market open often comes with extreme spreads and slippage, even on RAW/ECN accounts. These conditions can lead to trades hitting Stop Loss unnecessarily.
For this reason, I recommend disabling Gap Trading if you do not have a high risk appetite.
I’ll be releasing a detailed report soon that compares the performance of Golden Tiger with Gap Trading enabled vs. disabled for a better judgement. Stay tuned for that.

Very promising EA, well coded, and useful dashboard.
First day of running it on a demo today with the following results:
With a minor adjustment to settings, backtests look promising for US30 as well. The good thing about US30 on IC Markets is spread is very consistent, and has zero commissions.
Switching to my live account tomorrow, will post a review after a couple of weeks live trading. Thanks for a great EA !!

This is a pretty significant update with many key changes to help increase the EA's profit factor.

I have also included a bonus BTCUSD setfile for $500USD accounts.Enhanced order placement logic for greater trade accuracy.
Refined trailing stop-loss system to better lock in profits.
Able to define EA trading days, trading start time and trading end time.
Added chart text showing the previous day’s high and low.
Added profit and loss labels for each trade directly on the chart.
I have tested Golden Tiger on BTCUSD and it has been pretty profitable for the past year, however in the recent month, the equity curve has been a little choppy so please do your own testing first.

Subject: Set Files for 3-Digit Gold Brokers (e.g., RoboForex)
Dear Clients,
Some customers have asked about using Golden Tiger EA on RoboForex, which quotes gold with 3 decimal places (different price quote precision).
Since the EA uses the point system for SL, TP, and TSL, the default settings may not work as intended on such brokers.
To address this, I’ve prepared dedicated set files for clients trading with brokers that use 3-digit pricing.

After running year-to-date (YTD) tests, I found that using a 500-point stop loss (SL) can generate more profit compared to a 1000-point SL. That said, there are trade-offs. With a 500-point SL, the win rate decreases, which results in more losing trades, a lower profit factor, and a higher maximum drawdown.
If you have a higher risk appetite and are targeting greater profit potential, you may consider the 500-point SL option.
For your reference, I’ve attached two "Every Tick Based on Real Ticks" YTD backtesting results to help with your decision:500 Point SL:

I recommend testing in the strategy tester or on a demo account first to better understand your risk appetite.

I completely agree—I noticed the same. I adjusted the settings by lowering the risk percentage from 10% to 5% and setting the stop loss to 500. The backtest results turned out very positive.
