Discover Slippage in HFT startegy (using pending orders).
This refers to the difference between the stop loss level and the execution level of your stop loss
Slippage (Delay) maybe caused by News events (volatility), Low liquidity, bad server location, ping to high, broker execution speed, Requotes, bad connexion, gaps...
There are two types of slippage (our cases ): pre-execution and post-execution.

This is common with the majority of retail brokers, it happen somtimes and certain brokers may provide a guaranteed stop-loss account but they charge you with a small commission for this service...
