Signal Description (MT4) — XAUUSD

This MT4 signal trades XAUUSD (Gold) with an automated strategy designed to target opportunities in trending markets while prioritizing account protection.

Trading approach

• Trend-following core: The system follows the prevailing trend most of the time. When trend conditions are strong, it can execute scalping-style entries to capture smaller, frequent moves.
• Pullback & rebound capture: During larger pullbacks, the strategy looks to add positions and capture the rebound from more favorable price areas, aiming to improve the overall entry range.

Risk & account protection

• Balance objective: The strategy is operated with the intention to maintain an account balance around USD 3,000 (not a guarantee; market risk applies).
• Recovery / protection logic: If price moves too far against positions, the EA can add additional orders to help bring earlier entries closer to break-even and reduce pressure from higher-priced positions.
  This is a protective mechanism and not a Martingale system.

Trade filtering (safety mode)

• RSI-based filtering: To reduce exposure during extended moves, the EA uses RSI (4H RSI can be used as a reference) to avoid initiating buys when the market is overbought, and resumes trading when conditions are safer.
• Because of this, there may be periods where the EA does not trade—this is intentional and part of the risk control.
