Hi and thank you for providing this indicator for free. Unfortunately I can't get it to show the DR IDR ranges for more than 4 days on the custom symbol I want to backtest (SP500 with several years of tick data). No matter what value I put in "Number of days to show and calculate" it shows 4 days only. On other symbols provided by Metaquotes it shows 39 days max. although there is more historic data if I scroll back in time. Any suggestions what I could try to show more than 4 days on my custom symbol? Thanks!

Hello. Thank you for reaching out.

There could be a few reasons the indicator is not showing the full days you want:

  • There is not enough data on the chart. Visible daily bars are less than the number you provided.
  • There are missing candles in the opening range. The indicator generates the dates backwards, starting from today, then yesterday and so on. Once it finds a session range which consists of less than 12  5-minute candles, it will not continue to generate. Try using a different broker with complete historical data.

This doesn't work for me. It does work on default settings, but as my broker timezone is UTC+0, it doesn't work as the ADR session starts in a different calendar day.

Shame because otherwise it looked great. Here's the settings that don't work:

Thanks for the great indicator! Does the Pro version include Standard Deviation Lines?

I like the indicator, but it is difficult to add it at my timezone on charts, sometimes If you move it from 2 to 3 it wont do it / any help would be appreciated. Otherwise its great

Thanks a lot for coding this indicator. There is a problem though. It is deleting all objects with the deinit/init cycle when I change the timaframe according to a post I saw here. Could you have a look at, please?
