would you please explain the parameter "Max Net Number of Currencies" ? Is it what I hope it is: The maximum number of currencies in the same direction.

For example,  if I set it to 2, then the EA would hold buy positions on EURGBP and EURAUD at the same time, but not an additional EURNZD (no three EUR in the same direction),

It would allow to hold buy positions on EURNZD, AUDNZD and NZDCAD at the same time (three times NZD but one in a different direction)

Is that correct?

Hi! Here is the description of this parameter from the guide:

• Maximum Net Number of Currencies -  allows to limit the number of open trades with the same currencies (not symbols/currency pairs) in the same direction. The parameter does not lead to performance improvements on tests, still, it limits risks, so it is recommended to be used with a value of 2 when more than 3 pairs are traded at a time. This parameter limits the exposure to risk in a smart way (not just by limiting the number of pairs traded)

For example, we set 'Maximum Net Number of Currencies'=2 and got 3 position open:

long EURUSD

long GBPUSD

short EURCHF

Net number of open positions with the same currencies:

EUR = 0 (long EURUSD + short EURCHF)

USD = -2 (long EURUSD + long GBPUSD)

GBP = 1 (long GBPUSD)

CHF = 1 (short EURCHF)

As you can see, USD has reached the max. limit (-2), so any orders that can lead to a new short USD trade (for example, short USDCHF) will be canceled and prohibited.

I was not able to add it in the EA full description of this parameter due to the limitation on the number of symbols in the description

This is like a pre-optimized time preset for different pairs. E.g. EURNZD is traded on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 19:00 to 22:59. I have a lot of live trading history, as well as high-quality tick data to back my research on optimal entry timing with scalping. Similar system works in some of my other EAs
