Hi, just got your EA and have a starting questions as follows please.

-Can the EA be used with any time frame or mainly TF 1H only?

-Any specific symbols that have been tested resulting in mostly good results than EurUsd?

-Is there anything that needs to be entered in the "Adaptation folder" after running the strategy testing and attach the EA to chart?

-Once the ES is trained with old data, is there any more need to optimze the inputs?

Hello.

1) EA can be used on any timeframe, but on higher timeframes, the result is generally better.

2) EA can be used on any symbol, but better on major symbols.

3) Optional. This parameter is needed if you want to train more than one network on the same currency pair and timeframe.

4) First, I recommend trying the default parameters. But if you wish, you can try to optimize the SL size and trailing stop.

Thank you Svetlana. with some parameters tuning, I have found some pairs other than EurUsd that give good results both in backtest and forward test (1/2, 1/3, 1/4). so now will try in account for a while. will give my reviews in a week or so. thank you

Hi, I have tried to get the MT5 to learn with old data (from 2018 for example) on two differnt PCs. but one learned and passed with good results where as the other did not seem to lean (different account but same broker).

Is there anything that can help to fix this?

How would I reset what the MT5 has learned if needed?

I have also tried the "Adaptive Folder" with differeent locations but there seems to be no saved data there, should there be any data saved or no?

Hello. Yes, it is possible. But you need to train the advisor after installing it on the VPS.

Hello. The autolot is enabled when the fixed order size is zero. It works like this: if you have a deposit of 100,000 (which is equivalent to 1 lot in Forex) and the "Lots risk" parameter is set to 100, the advisor will open an order of 1 lot. If the deposit is 10,000, respectively 0.1 lot, etc.

The "Adaptation Every Time Process" parameter overwrites the neural network in any case, even during a forward test. Therefore, it is usually best to keep it off.

Only the name of the subdirectory in which the neural network will be placed is specified in the "Adaptation Foldel" parameter - the full path to the file should not be specified in it.

Hello. In this case, it is better to use the "Adaptation Folder" parameter and give the subdirectory for the neural network a name containing the information you are interested in (for example, if the training period for your neural network is from 2015, you can name the folder "Net2015-2021" or something like that). I do this for myself.

What’s your recommendation for how often we have to train the EA after the initial process ?

In the new v1.02, the trading sessions that have been introduced seems that for example in crypto- currencies which trade on Sat and Sun and if I have not defined Saturday and Sunday trade sessions then it will close my positions once Saturday comes.

But the position I have may close in a loss even it should not have been closed yet (just because it just turned Sat).

if possible I would prefer it to just not open new trades during Sat and Sun but just continue managing the positions on hand as usual like a normal day. can that be done?

Also for some other pairs (that do not trade on Sat/Sun) I have positions, I see in the journal tab that it is trying to close the positions during the weekend. This may cause a problem on late Sunday night when the market opens and it closes the positions that are not suppose to be closed yet, this may also be a problem. I did try adding Sat/Sun to the EA and turning off/on the Algo Trading but did not help, the journal tab is still showing trade errors for them

Hi, I bought your Adaptive EA but can't make it running on VPS.

As proposed above I moved the produced folder  NET_2021  with the file   2020.01.02-2021.11.26.EURUSDH1  into the the folder  ..........MT5 Client Terminal\MQL5\Files   and synchronised with VPS-sync.

In the journal it confirms the folder / file Transmission, but after 3-4 days it didn't place any trade; (unfortunatelly, no screenshot allowed to show the journal entry, a copy:

Besides, your EA runs fine on direct connection from my MT5-station.

I have question to take profit. I have zwo Gold-settings with Lot 0.01:

Setting 1 with standardsettings:

Setting 2 with my settings:

These two gold orders were placed at the same time. Both orders were up at € 4.

1. Why didn't setting 2 take over a profit at € 3? Or what should have been adjusted for that to be the case?

2. Why was the order with setting 1 ended with a loss? Ok, different SL. But both was higher in profit, shouldn't the trailing stop have had to secure profit, or what exactly does it do?

Hello, in case when the distance between the price and TP will be lower than TrailingStops (in pips) then the EA will change the SL and TP. So when you set TrailingStops to lower value the EA changes TP SL more often, when you set TrailingStops to higher value the EA changes TP SL less often.
