Initial reversal alert Mode is when there is a breakout signal, EA still opens the order and when there is a Retest signal, EA still opens the order.

The EA opens an order EITHER on initial reversal OR re-test, NOT both. If you opened on both you would be just opening at virtually the same price and therefore doubling exposure on the trade.

I think we need the function to close both Buy and Sell trades when the total profit for Buy and Sell reaches xx pips. 
I tried backtest, because I only closed 1 type of Buy or Sell trade so EA generated DD at bad. 

Hope you added breakeven to the sum of both Buy and Sell transactions. Thank you very much.

Usually you would only takes trades in one direction, you would use a filter to make sure you enter with the trend bas but can add that in case the EA were to open a trade in both directions, possibly in consolidation periods.

I have been trading Retest strategy for 10 years.
I have had good profit with this strategy, so I like your EA very much.
The new update is so good, I was really looking forward to it.
I hope you add new features for the next update as follows:
1. About basket strategy:
- Can set TP/SL separately for Sell basket.
- Can set TP/SL separately for Buy basket.
For example:
Can set Stoploss for Sell basket is 5 pips.
Can set TakeProfit and Trailing for Buy basket is 30 pips.
- The logic here is: Close the losing basket with the fastest breakeven and Trailing the profit to the profitable basket.

2. About the Retest strategy:
- If Retest signal is confirmed adding price action like Pinbar will better win rate.
- Pinbar can add confirmation of more volume than the previous candlestick's volume is very good.

Hope you can take my opinion and release more next update with my idea. Thank you very much.

Glad you are finding it useful. Will look into those options for seperate buy and sell logic but would be a massive re-work of how it currently works.
Pinbars and other candlestick patterns have been looked into but the issue is what you class as a pinbar and what I do. There are specific rules the EA needs for candle stick pattern sizes and theres no one size fits all for a candlestick pattern. Hard to code and you would also want to take into account engulfings and other patterns probably. This is something that is being looked at as an option also. 
On the development list so hopefully will come out in a future update. :)

I think you only need to consider the condition of 1 candle in the signal position.

Candle conditions just like that:

- Right_Direction_of_Pin - should the body of the Pin bar be in the same direction (bullish/bearish)

- Opposite_Bars_Before - the number of bars in the other direction BEFORE the Pin bar (bullish for bearish Pin bar, bearish for bullish Pin bar)

- Max_Body_Size_Percent - maximum size of the Pin bar body as a percentage of the total candle size

- Max_Short_Wick_Percent - maximum size of the short wick of the Pin bar as a percentage of the total candle size

- Min_Long_Wick_Percent - minimum size of the long wick of the Pin bar as a percentage of the total candle size


We will add the value we like.

What is your intial starting lot size? Make sure it is at least 0.02 or it wont be able to add 0.01 lot to the next order. This applied to baskets only obviously and not individual trades.

If there is one thing I'd like to ask you, it would be nice to have a mode that enters at regular pip intervals when additional entries are made. Now, additional entry is made when there is the next signal.

If price pushed hard without signs of reversal you just get into lots of additional positions and big drawdown. Adding on reversal alerts (signs of strength) worked much more effectively. 👍

The EA takes trades when a reversal alert happens. The indicator the EA is based on.

Hello,

I am excited to venture in the EA zone, and I think this is the EA that I have been

waiting on, now I know i have to continue to test it and maybe tweak it to my liking

but so far in the tester I really like how the EA is performing it set trades on the same setups

that I like to take I trade the BTMM method and I think the designer of this EA does too

because this EA spot the setups that I like and hunt
