Hi Alexander,
Please help. I see issue with this EA.
Starting from 10th April I started this EA on two pairs NZDCHFi(Magic # 150) and EURUSDi (Magic # 151) .
EURUSDi is not opening any new positions the EA after working for some time and also closed positions.
Below is all closed positions by EA:
All positions of NZDCHFi closed completely and it did not open new positions as I set New_Cycle 'false' and positions on NZDCHFi went up to lot 0.07 as per my settings of MaximumLotsValue (1 lot) and that is good.
But EURUSDi stopped opening positions after closing one of 0.05 lot.
Below are current open positions or EURUSDi (as of now EURUSDi went up to a high of 1.23990) and there are no more positions after that.
I have re-checked magic #, closed MT4 and opened again, and also closed chart and attached EA again and put the same magic # of #151 on EURUSDi again but no luck.
Set file I am using for EURUSDi is attached.
Thanks

Hello, in your set New_Cycle == false, in your screen - you already have opened orders, so ea will grown grid and close group of orders, after that it will be no work before you will make New_Cycle == true.

Thanks I will try with New_Cylce=true,
But EA did not increase grid earlier. I assume it will complete cycle and will not open positions and in my case the cycle is not complete yet.
Also after closing 0.05 lot it should have opened 2 positions of 0.07 lot Buy and as Sell each for EURUSDi, right ?Thanks I will try with New_Cylce=true,

Best Regards.
Hello Alexander,
Could you please add spread filter for the EA so that does open orders when spread is widened.
Not sure if it Is it due to slippage, but I am seeing some basket orders closed with net negative amount.
Does the EA consider commission, spread when closing orders ?
Thanks

Hello,
Could you add orders when spread is widened. - Well, I will try to post an update before the new year.
Not sure if I’m seeing some basket orders closed with net negative amount.
Does the EA consider commission, spread when orders? - Yes, takes into account. I will check and improve the function in the next update so that these situations will not happen again.
Best Regards.

Hi Alex,
I have just purchased the RoundLock EA. None of the links you provided above gives any information on the product.
Could you please explain what the parameter "Limit for Locked Groups" - does it mean Maximum Number of Orders allowed???
Thanks.
sincerely,
Philip
p/s I have purchased 4 of your EAs now and I think they are all very well coded and profitable.
If New_Cycle = true - yes, but if it =false - ea just will end work. In sometimes you need to close all orders and finish your work - New_Cycle function is for situations like that.

Alex,
I think it is better to change the parameter "New Cycle - True/False" to a better parameter of "One Trade Cycle Only - True/False" because its much more practical as the EA can be used to trade one trade cycle and after that trade cycle is completed, the EA will not trade further.
As it is, namely, when it is changed to FALSE, the EA will immediately stop trading the existing cycle is NOT practical and frankly, USELESS!!!
If the above is implemented, the EA will be extremely useful and practical as it can be used in a very wide variety of situations where the user does his own analysis and decides whether to buy or sell and then just set the EA to Buy or Sell one single trade cycle.
Alex, please, please implement the above suggested "One Trade Cycle" parameter, it will make A HELL LOT OF DIFFERENCE to the usefulness and effectiveness of the EA.
I really hope you will implement the above.
Thanks.
sincerely,
Philip Lee

Hello.
Round Lock is an Expert Advisor that trades two-way trading with a pair of multidirectional orders.
Each new pair of orders is opened when one of the previous pair of orders is closed. This means that the distance between the pairs of diversified orders is regulated by the take profit.
This happens until the opening limit is reached. That is, the "Limit for Locked Groups" parameter - the maximum number of orders of the same type for opening orders in multidirectional groups, after reaching this number, the adviser will open orders only in one direction.
That is, when there are fewer orders than "Limit for Locked Groups" - the step is regulated using the TP. When there are more orders than "Limit for Locked Groups" - the step is adjusted using «Step".
Best Regards

Hello.
The new circle is a function that is needed if you want to complete the work, but want to allow the adviser to close all open positions on its own. When the function is disabled, the adviser will stop opening new orders, and will only close existing ones.
We are currently not planning any updates for this product. I will be sure to put your suggestion on the update list and we will look into it when we prepare a new update. However, I'm not sure if this functionality will be added, as I'm not sure if it will fit the product strategy.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
Best Regards

Hi Alex,
Thank you for your speedy reply and I understand what you are saying, namely that it may not fit into the existing strategy. But I still hope your team will consider it - in fact, my honest view is that this feature of "One Trade Cycle" only should be implemented in ALL of your EAs - to a lot of us who has vast experiences with EAs and Indicators, if the suggested feature is added to ALL of your EAs - it would turn most of your EAs into VERY USEFUL and HIGHLY effective tools - although it may not fit into the specific strategy of that particular EA. I understand that most purchasers purchased the product for its particular strategy and don't or could not see the potential use of that particular EA in ways other than the intended strategy.
Alex, since you are so prolific in having produced so many EAs thus far, may I suggest that you add that "One Trade Cycle" feature into the RoundLock EA and market it as a new 'Trading Tool' to assist traders in their manual trading. Sincerely hope you can consider that.
Thanks.
sincerely,
Philip Lee
Hi Alex,
It seems that what I have requested above is ALREADY implemented in the RoundLock EA. Please see screen shot attached. What I did was immediately after having attached the EA to the chart (and the first order is issued), I changed the "New Cycle" parameter to 'False" - and ha ha, the EA continues to trade that cycle - as can be seen from the screen shot, the orders of 0.08, 0.12, 1.16, 0.2 and 0.24 were issued AFTER I have turned the New Cycle to FALSE. So, it does work like I wanted it, only need to turn it to False after the first order is issued. I can further confirm that once that cycle is closed in profit, the EA will NOT issue a fresh/new cycle.
Alex, can you look at the codes and confirm what I have stated above? Namely that after the user had changed it to False, the EA will CONTINUE to trade that particular cycle until it is closed in profit and only then the EA will turn off and will NOT start a new/fresh cycle.
Wow, really good, I got what I wanted.
Thanks.
Philip
