Session ORB is an MT5 Expert Advisor for risk-managed session automation (QuantKit): it builds a session opening range on broker server time, arms breakout stop orders, takes one shot per session, and can kill the day on prop-style daily loss / equity drawdown limits.

It is automation tooling, not an edge claim. Strategy Tester packs are gate artifacts — not live expectancy and not a prop-pass guarantee. A documented EURUSD M15 ~5Y Tester run with VolRegimeFilter showed profit factor 1.28 and equity DD 5.71% (not 1.30). No DLL. No WebRequest. No grid. No martingale.

What it does

- Records session High/Low between SessionStart and SessionEnd (server clock).
- Arms BuyStop above high (+ buffer) and/or SellStop below low (− buffer); cancels the opposite side on fill.
- Sizes lots with RiskPercent of equity from SL distance; TP via RR or ATR.
- Skips arming when range width is outside ATR band, spread is too wide, FridayCutoff trips, optional vol-regime ratio trips, or a position is already open for Magic.
- Requires ArmUntil (server) to cancel unfilled pendings.
- Optional DailyLoss% / EquityDD% flatten + day stop (server calendar day).

How to use

1. Purchase and install from MQL5 Market. Activation is automatic via Market.
2. Attach Session ORB to one chart symbol; set unique Magic.
3. Align SessionStart / SessionEnd / ArmUntil to your broker's server clock.
4. Start from the recommended EURUSD_AsianLondon_vol_L1.set (VolRegimeFilter ON) or demo sketch; rematch times every broker/DST.
5. Configure FridayCutoff and prop kills to your rules.

Limits / Good to know

- Commodity ORB pattern — honesty + prop shell + original code, not "best EA" claims.
- FX-first proof path; XAU optional .set only — not the hero symbol.
- One chart symbol; no multi-symbol, news calendar, grid, or signal copier in v1.
