Prop Daily Equity Guard

Prop Daily Equity Guard is a risk-management utility that watches your account and enforces the limits you set, like a prop-firm risk desk. It works with manual trades and with any other Expert Advisor running on the same account.

What it does

• Daily loss limit in account currency or % of the day-start balance. When it is reached, all trades are closed and pending orders are deleted.
• Daily profit target: lock in a good day and stop trading.
• Profit lock (trailing): once today's profit reaches a trigger, the guard keeps a chosen % of the day's peak profit.
• Max total drawdown: fixed, or trailing from the highest balance (useful for funded and challenge accounts).
• Stay flat: after a limit is hit, any new trade opened manually or by another EA is closed immediately until the next trading day.
• Custom day reset hour (server time) to match your prop firm's daily reset.
• Scope filter: all symbols or the chart symbol only; all magic numbers, manual trades only, or one specific EA.
• On-chart panel: day-start balance, today's P/L in money and %, target, loss limit, profit-lock floor, equity floor, open trades.
• One-click CLOSE ALL NOW button and a protected RESUME button (double click).
• Alerts: popup, push notification, e-mail.
• State survives terminal restarts and timeframe changes.

How to use

Attach the utility to any one chart and enable Algo Trading. Keep the terminal running (a VPS is recommended). One copy per account is enough.

Main inputs

• Which trades to guard: all symbols / chart symbol only
• Magic filter: -1 = all, 0 = manual trades only, other value = one EA
• Daily limits measured in: account currency / % of day-start balance
• Daily profit target, Daily loss limit (0 = off)
• New trading day starts at (server hour)
• Profit lock trigger and % of peak profit to keep
• Max drawdown %, reference balance, trailing on/off
• Close positions / delete pending orders / stay flat
• Popup, push and e-mail alerts; panel position and colors

Important

The guard checks the account every second and on every trade event. Gaps, slippage and closed markets can make the final loss larger than the limit; trades are closed at the best available price. This utility does not open trades on live or demo accounts and does not guarantee profit.

In the Strategy Tester the utility opens small demo trades (input "Tester demo") only so you can see the guard working. This never happens outside the tester.
