Kiwi Fair Value Gap MT5 is a clear and beginner-friendly market imbalance indicator for MetaTrader 5.

HOW TO READ THE CHART

BLUE ZONES

Blue zones represent bullish Fair Value Gaps. They normally appear below or around the current market price after a strong upward movement.

PURPLE ZONES

Purple zones represent bearish Fair Value Gaps. They normally appear above or around the current market price after a strong downward movement.

The zone’s midpoint is displayed as a dashed line. Depending on the selected mitigation mode, the indicator can consider a gap mitigated when price:

• Touches the zone
• Reaches the midpoint
• Completely fills the zone

BEGINNER WORKFLOW

  1. Attach Kiwi Fair Value Gap MT5 to a chart.

  2. Select the analysis timeframe. You can use the current chart timeframe or a higher timeframe.

  3. Watch for blue bullish zones and purple bearish zones.

  4. Wait for price to revisit a relevant zone.

  5. Check the wider trend, market structure and candle reaction.

  6. Define your stop loss, target and acceptable risk before entering any trade.

A Fair Value Gap is market context, not a guaranteed buy or sell signal. It should be combined with your own confirmation and risk-management rules.

SMART GAP FILTERING

Small gaps can create unnecessary chart noise. Kiwi Fair Value Gap MT5 provides flexible filters to help display more meaningful zones.

You can qualify gaps using:

• A minimum fixed size in points
• An ATR-based volatility filter
• Your preferred analysis timeframe

MULTI-TIMEFRAME ANALYSIS

The indicator can calculate Fair Value Gaps from the current chart or a selected higher timeframe.

For example, you can open an M15 chart and display H1 Fair Value Gaps. This allows you to monitor lower-timeframe price action while keeping important higher-timeframe imbalance zones visible.

DASHBOARD

The compact dashboard displays useful information at a glance, including:

• Selected analysis timeframe
• Number of active bullish zones
• Number of active bearish zones
• Latest Fair Value Gap status
• Indicator detection and mitigation mode

ALERTS

Optional alerts can notify you when a relevant Fair Value Gap event is detected.

Available notification methods include:

MAIN SETTINGS

Analysis Timeframe — Select the timeframe used for Fair Value Gap detection.

Minimum Gap Size — Ignore gaps smaller than the selected point value.

ATR Filter — Qualify gaps according to current market volatility.

Mitigation Mode — Choose touch, midpoint or full-fill confirmation.

Remove Mitigated Zones — Choose whether completed zones remain visible.

Maximum Active Zones — Control how many zones appear on the chart.

Bullish Zone Color — Select the color used for bullish gaps.

Bearish Zone Color — Select the color used for bearish gaps.

Show Midpoint — Display or hide the 50 percent level inside each zone.

Show Dashboard — Display or hide the information panel.

Popup Alerts — Enable or disable terminal notifications.

Push Notifications — Enable or disable mobile notifications.

RECOMMENDED BEGINNER SETUP

• Start with the H1 timeframe
• Keep the default filtering settings
• Use midpoint mitigation
• Display only a manageable number of active zones
