Hi. The Recovery function doesn´t have an effect. The backtest results are the same with recovery on and off. Please checkt it.

not good, using 1.5% DD protection and small lot size on 50k account big losses, in the backtests rarely see this so doesnt match. Yes I followed guide and only traded Monday - Wed but already in 2 days account has lost. with DD protection SL is just too big but again the backtests looked great with my settings, live very different story

Mine is at 10% DD protection and its going good for now, i think its the drawdown that is too small?

In the 1-minute backtest you can see why: 3 sell positions that it can’t close. In one way, it’s good that it uses the 48-point rule for a grid, but on the other hand, that distance is far too large. It would be great if you could manually set it to trigger already at 30 points, because then the drawdown would never have happened, for example. 95% of the entries are excellent, but when a setup like this appears, it can end badly depending on the risk. The EA is very strong, no doubt, but the protection still needs to be designed better. Just this cut by % of capital is extremely risky.

UPDATE: on my previous comment I want to provide more info to be fairer to developer and potential buyers, if you keep the drawdown protection off or increase the DD % to close trades you most likely would not have got those losses I had. So EA is not bad at all, but just keep an eye on your risk level and DD tolerance

I bought the EA last sunday The dev recommend me to put it on M1 but I put it on M30 instead(not satisfy with m1 backtest).I have 4 trade with this EA all TP so far. DD is about 3k point. Let see how it perform longterm.

I'm using VPS, attached this EA to only one chart. And I have 5 unclosed trades. So even there is no power outage, the live signal will have a big DD, I think. 

Now we can only hope for good luck.

This is what I am talking about. If you check the next following trades number 3,4 and 5 that I have marked on this picture, they were performed before the grid level and worse part it opened 3 due to that I forgot that I applied it on 3 more charts so each chart was trading independently. The 4th trade of a Buy in your case it was a normal order. Buy and Sell act independently that's what gives it an advantage. As you can see you don't have these 3 additional trades due to power outage and forgetting that I mistakenly activated those other ones.

Ok, what does that mean for us? But it seems a bit odd to me that the EA takes trades on our side if there’s a power outage on your side?

Awesome. You have a good eye. This EA it performs differently under different timeframes and yes some timeframe are due to be less risky than others. It is best to do a thorough check in order to reach the best choice. 

That's the best part, when you have purchased the EA, you have full control over it and what happens on ym side or any other user won't affect your outcome.
