These two functions work independently of each other.

The alert may not come if it was recently triggered by the program when the drawdown is reached. After the notification appears the drawdown must decrease by 1/3 of the specified in the Send Max Drawdown Currency setting in order for the alert to appear again.

This is exactly what I was looking for! However, it seems to keep giving me total open order alerts no matter what I do. I set the number of max open orders to 999999 and it's still popping up alerts every few minutes.

Unfortunately this makes the indicator virtually useless to me because I can't trust when I hear the alert go off. I have to run back to the computer every few minutes to make sure it's just the max open orders alerts and not the DD alert.

How do I fix this?

It shouldn't be like that. The indicator algorithm checks the number of open orders against the setting data.

Set Max Open Orders Total = 0 to disable this check.

I like this, works as advertised, to be high needs I wish I could pick the position or corner where it writes its text, it overlaps with my other stuff on screen.

My other problem is not a problem of the author, but I cannot get email alerts to work for anything. I've enabled the low security access setting in Gmail.  Tried naming different ssl or not ports like 465 and 587, just can't get it to authenticate. 

Has someone managed to get the email alert working?  The Android phone app works, though I'd like the alert to be really obnoxious and I can't manage to do that with the app alert.

So far this Indi makes a lot of sense! Please enhance the program, so that it repeats drawdown alert for example every single minute! (or adjustable value) So that i get repeatedly warnings about a drawdown situation in my mobile app! Kind regards from the mftrader

I know your description says max drawdown but on your chart label it looks like it is displaying current drawdown. Which one is being monitored for the triggered notification?

Yes, it shows current and max DD.

  • Send Notification: Send Max Drawdown % - Set the value of your drawdown percent. If you set 30% and your account get 30% equity DD - you'll get the notification
  • Send Notification: Send Max Drawdown Currency - the same, but with your balance, for example 60$.
