I have found that "distance multiplier" doesn't work.


for example I put "distance multiplier" to 2 and "Step Distance" to 100

I expect the first step appear 100 point before initial position (this is working correctly). and second step 200 before the first step (300 distance to initial position) but this won't work correctly

but what I'm seeing is that all the step is same distance (in this example 100point).


somehow I want when the market turned against my position, the distance between the step increase to avoid reaching very big lot at very small step

yes i also see the same problem.

At new version, it shows error "array out of range in 'EA-GridTradeManager.mq5' (1382,38)" and auto remove expert.
Can you check it?

I am testing it on a demo account, and it works well. If you could add stoploss and takeprofit settings for manual orders, that would be perfect.

Did you rename it. The error says the file name not found

No nothing renamed file is not on the entire computer

The MT5.ex file is in :-C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\A37A4D5CCF0AFEA4E0D0A3F7DF03B0DF\MQL5\Experts\Market

What I also don't understand is why under General Settings in the inputs file there is no entry for lot size which does not correlate with the screenshot on the download page

Dear developer.

I've been trying your EA - Grid Trade Manager ver.6.00, but after running for a while the EA automatically removed by itself.
I use pair of XAUUSD in Demo Account. Starting balance USD.1.000, TF = 1M.  All parameter is default except initial Lot = 0.1

Any recommendation on this matter ?

its works for me .. sort of :)
i'm using another EA that is buying lots of different forex pairs (different magic numbers per pair) on a $1000 500:1 account. at 0.01 or 0.02 . it however has no grid ability and therefore if it gets it wrong it stagnates a bit. 
i want this one of yours (for example) to jump in if a pair hits a loss of -$10 and open the grid. then another at each x amount total loss. 
i see the setting for Grid activation mode, but don't really understand where i would set that to start grid at -$10 loss . and then carry on from there as mentioned above.

Use grid distance parameter , so it is in pips . If 100 pips means 10 then set 100 as distance

theres no parameter called "grid distance" .. do you mean "step distance" ? 
if so ... for example EURCHF  0.11 lot size thats already running at a loss ..  entering 7 pips would give -$9.62644 before grid starts ?

yes sorry step distance, and yes you have to adjust based on lot size. but we are placing grid trades based on pip distance not based on loss amount

is there a 'easy' way to set it to start grid with buy/sell (whichever is appropriate) once the pair hits a loss of -$10 then rebuy next in grid at -$20 or whatever amount is set. or does it all require calculating into pips. i thought i had it set right and its buying by workign out the pips/$/lot and i have it 'sort of' buying 1st grid at -$10 or around that.. however it then sets a SL and sells that lot alone at +$1.70 .. so i must of set somethign wrong somewhere :) as it not now combining them to get a overall gain.
