The Problem :

I'm running a tick-sensitive EA across four different ECN broker feeds (FP Markets, Pepperstone, Global Prime, Tickmill) using identical inputs and "Every Tick based on real ticks" modeling.
The Divergence:
  • Global Prime: Survives with $100 equity. Smooth upward curve.
  • Other 3 Brokers: Require $1,000–$2,000 to avoid immediate blow-up.
  • Observation: One broker survives specific volatility events; the others experience drawdown.

This is NOT a parameter optimization job. The logic works better on 2 feeds; doesn't on others due to execution microstructure differences.

In the video, you can see that the price feeds are coming from different brokers. All four tests are run with identical settings and inputs , over the exact same time period . I also forced latency to 50 ms across all tests to normalize execution, since with a VPS we already know sub-5 ms is achievable.

One test clearly stood out: it only required $100 to pass, showed the best overall performance , and had 100% data quality , while the others required $1k–$2k . Given that the stated goal is “to achieve roughly equal/similar profitability across the histories of several reputable brokers,” my question is:

What should I be hardening at this point?
