Momentum Breakout using ADX, EMA, MACD

Trade strong breakout moves while avoiding ranging markets. Designed to enter trends with momentum confirmation.

Indicators Used:

  • ADX (14) – measures trend strength

  • EMA(100) – defines breakout direction

  • MACD (12,26,9) – confirms momentum

Logic:

  • Buy Conditions:

    1. ADX > 25 (trend is strong)

    2. Price above EMA(100)

    3. MACD main line > MACD signal line

  • Sell Conditions:

    1. ADX > 25

    2. Price below EMA(100)

    3. MACD main line < MACD signal line

Risk Management:

  • Stop Loss = ATR(14) × 2

  • Take Profit = 2 × Stop Loss

  • Spread filter included
