MT5 CatBoost Angle MA EA Upgrade

Project Title:

Upgrade MT5 CatBoost “Angle MA 3” EA – Semi Self-Learning System + Prop Firm Risk Control + Python Model Retraining

Project Description:

This project upgrades an existing MT5 EA using MA-angle-based features and CatBoost ML models. The goal is to add a semi-automatic self-learning pipeline, a Prop Firm risk control module, and a simplified Python retraining system.

Scope of Work 

1. EA Logging Module (MQL5)

- Add CSV logging for:

  - Timestamp

  - Angle-based feature vectors

  - Labels (future outcome: TP-first = 1, SL-first = 0)

- Save logs under:

  MQL5\Files\TrainLogs\XAUUSD_H1_YYYYMMDD.csv

- Inputs:

  EnableLogging, LabelFutureBars

2. Prop Firm Risk Control Module

- Daily Loss Limit

- Max Overall Drawdown

- Daily Profit Target Stop

- Auto Lot by Risk Percent

- Max Open Positions

- Trading Time Filter

- Example inputs included in document.

3. Python Training Pipeline (Simplified)

- utils/feature_builder.py (MA angle feature reconstruction)
