I'm looking for someone to improve my custom local copier. You’ll find the master side and slave side code below.
Here's how it works, with some specific details:
- It operates on a single-pair principle, meaning that if a GBPUSD trade is already open on both the master and slave sides, no further trades involving GBP or USD should be opened. So, if a GBPCAD or EURUSD trade opens on the master, it will not open on the slave side.
- The slave side analyzes the trade comments from the master side. If a GBPUSD trade with the comment "GBPUSD M5 Long" is already open on both sides, it will only take new GBPUSD trades with exactly the same comment. Thus, if a new GBPUSD trade with the comment "GBPUSD H4 Long" opens on the master side, it will not be copied to the slave side.
- Each trade’s stop loss (SL) and take profit (TP) are continuously copied.
- If a trade closes on the master side, it also closes on the slave side.
- If a trade is closed on the slave side only and the "Reopen Closed Deals" option is checked, the slave side will reopen it.
- When the slave side selects a new trade from those open on the master side, it chooses the one with the largest drawdown.
I am not looking to change the design; it suits me perfectly as it is.
Here are the new features I need :
Currently, the local copier only takes trades if it’s single pairs. I would like it to take single pairs, but only if they are in the opposite direction.
For example, currently, the local copier on the slave side will not take GBPUSD if an EURGBP trade is already open.
With the addition of the new functionality, if the local copier slave side already has a long EURGBP trade (so short GBP), I would like the local copier to copy the GBPUSD trade only if it is long on the master side (so short USD). Similarly, in this example, if a short EURUSD trade (so long USD and short EUR) opens on the master, I would like it to be copied to the local copier slave side.
In no case should the local copier slave side copy two trades if they are for example, both long on the dollar (short EURUSD and short GBPUSD at the same time is not possible).
The local copier should therefore be able to identify if a currency is short or long before deciding whether to take the new trade if others are already open, to avoid a duplicate.
The idea is to allow me to increase my trading frequency on the slave side and also allow me to hedge my positions.
Additionally, I would like to set a pause time of 20 seconds on the slave side after a trade closes (whether manually or through take-profit) before deciding on a new trade.
Finally, I would like to add a 'no more trade' option with a tick box, located just below the 'Reopen closed deals' option.
Thanks for reading everything.
