Thank you for your interest in Smart Gold Hunter. Please find my recommendations below:

1. **Recommended broker**

I currently recommend **Ultima Markets**, where one of Smart Gold Hunter live signal is running successfully.

The most important factors are low and stable XAUUSD spreads, good execution and low slippage. In my experience, slippage can be even more important than the visible spread, especially for faster Gold trades.

2. **Recommended account type**

A Raw Spread or low-spread account is preferred.

Smart Gold Hunter can also work on other account types, but lower spreads and better execution generally provide better conditions.

3. **Recommended VPS**

Use a reliable Windows VPS located close to your broker’s trading server.

The most important requirements are:

* Stable connection
* Low latency
* No interruptions
* MT5 running continuously

4. **Minimum recommended deposit**

The minimum recommended deposit is **$100**.

However, with a smaller account, you should use the minimum lot size and conservative settings. A larger balance gives more flexibility and better protection against normal drawdown.

5. **Recommended leverage**

Leverage of **1:100 or higher** is normally sufficient.

Higher leverage mainly provides more available margin. It should not be used as a reason to increase the trading risk.

6. **Best settings for XAUUSD**

Smart Gold Hunter is specifically designed and optimized for XAUUSD.

The built-in modes are the recommended starting point:

* **Scalper** – more frequent and shorter trades
* **Positive RR** – more selective entries with a stronger risk-to-reward target
* **Balanced** – a balance between trade frequency, risk and potential return
* **Prop Scalper** – designed with prop-firm trading conditions in mind

Buyers also receive set files and a detailed user guide. I recommend changing mainly the lot size or risk setting rather than modifying the main strategy parameters.

7. **One chart or multiple charts**

For new users, I recommend starting with one chart and one mode.

You can run different modes on multiple charts, but each chart must use a different Magic Number. You must also reduce the risk per chart because several EA instances can open trades at the same time.

8. **Grid, Martingale, Hedging or Recovery**

* No averaging of losing trades
* No recovery basket

Every setup is managed independently and protected by a real Stop Loss.

9. **Recommended risk per trade**

I recommend starting conservatively at approximately **0.25% to 0.50% risk per trade**.

For a $100 account, using the minimum fixed lot size may be more practical, depending on the broker’s contract specifications.

I generally do not recommend exceeding 1% risk per trade, especially when running multiple modes.

10. **News filters and trading times**

Smart Gold Hunter includes:

* Friday closing options
* Daily equity loss and profit protection

I recommend keeping the news filter, spread protection and daily equity protection enabled.
