Nobu Trap Small

I've been watching the signals from this provider for months, and I finally subscribed to this one almost a month ago when it was very new. I did so because it had more frequent trades and higher growth than the other signals.

Unfortunately, it went into losses at about the same time, and the provider had to disable the new strategies, making this the same as the main Nobu Trap signal (just on a smaller balance). I appreciated this action and the message exchange we had on it.

Unfortunately, the rest of the month wasn't profitable for this family of signals, so overall I got a moderate loss. That's not unusual - the strategies appear to be profitable over multiple months, not necessarily over any one month. I was hoping this one signal with its additions would be profitable every month, but no luck.

Trade copying quality is very good in that these trades are not significantly impacted by delays and slippage. However, few brokers have the XAUJPY symbol (mine does not), so this means incomplete copying and even bumpier balance curve, similar to what we see for the Gold Trap JP signal, and that's assuming proportional copying.

When I copy with a smaller balance (since I was still trying this out), this is further distorted as everything becomes 0.01 lots. I'm not too worried about that since the older signals from this family show decent profit factor not only in USD (or JPY), but also in pips, meaning this should be profitable long-term even with the trade size distinction lost.

I think I'll stop here - I want to try other signals, and I have a limited number of "slots" for them. However, I do recommend this family of signals to those who intend to follow for multiple months, and ideally (but not necessarily) are with a broker that has XAUJPY.

It is quite possible I'll want to resubscribe to this or another signal from this provider later. So please support them with your subscriptions meanwhile.
