NewsLens - Economic News on the Chart for MT5

High-impact news moves the market in seconds and many prop firms forbid trading around it. NewsLens shows the economic calendar directly on your chart, so you always know what is coming and when to stay out. Data comes from the economic calendar built into MetaTrader 5: no external website, no DLL, nothing to configure.

Panel

- The next events of your currencies with a live countdown ("in 2h 15m", "NOW").

- Importance colour: red high, orange medium, grey low.

- Actual, forecast and previous values of every event.

- Light and dark theme follow the chart background, high-resolution screens supported, minimize button.

On the chart

- Vertical lines on the time of every past and coming event (dashed = coming, dotted = past), with the event name in the tooltip.

- No-trade zone: a shaded area from N minutes before to N minutes after every high-impact news (15/15 by default, adjustable). Very useful in prop-firm challenges.

Filters

- Currencies: automatic from the chart symbol (EURUSD -> EUR and USD, gold, silver and indices -> USD) or your own list (for example USD,EUR,GBP).

- Minimum importance: low, medium or high.

- Days ahead and days back with lines.

Alerts

Popup, push notification to the phone and e-mail N minutes before the news (15 by default), optionally only for high-impact events.

Notes

The economic calendar is not available in the Strategy Tester: there the panel shows a message. Use NewsLens on a live or demo chart. Event times are shown in your broker's server time, the same time as the chart.
