The rectangles are actually drawn for illustration purposes. You are free to choose only periods of "strong trend" in dark color, or to choose for example to enter into a strong buying trend (dark green) then to stay on this trend (light green) until it reverses. .

is there any way for me to increase the number of bars that the indicator uses. It goes to 2000 bars and i would like to be able to increase that number so i can use it for backtesting
