I am very pleased that you have provided a new update and set file.  Originally H4 Trend made me good money.  But, recently it only made losses.  I assume this is because the forex market is constantly changing and therefore eas and set files need updating on a regular basis.

Do you have planes to produce other set files like USDCHF for example?

The market has changed yes and as with most Forex robots optimization needs to be performed from time to time. This robot was released July 3rd and it's now September, August been pretty rough giving market a new headings. There will be an update to USDCHF also when i get time for that. Optimizations are time consuming and i can only do one at a time, primary all defaults sets comes first and i have more then one robot to attend to ;)

To sum this up; Presence of losses means market changed and then it's time to do an optimization.

Also, now equipped with ADX filter you can choose how strong trends H4 Trend should make entries on. Of course with stronger trends(higher adx value) - less trades but more powerful entries.

Thanks for this.  To save you time in the future could you please list the steps needed to optimise H4 Trend.  Then I will do it myself.

Well thanks but i have other users as well that may need updates so it actually don't save me any time! Anyway this is how you do;

1: Set hard stop and print journal to 'false' and make sure all settings are unchecked.

2: Check and optimize all settings which have increment steps in one go - indicator and all virtual settings

3: Set hard stop to 'true', uncheck all other settings beside 'Set hard stop loss' and optimize it

4: Done!
