Auto Trade
When set to Yes (default) the robot will open and close trades by itself.

Profit Today
Show the profit today.

Open 'Dark Rider' Trade
Opens a Buy or Sell trade with Dark Rider lot size, stoploss and virtual take profit. This allows you to open a (scalping) trade semi-manually outside the robots own automated trades.

Show Trade Levels
Set to No to hide the standard Metatrader 4 trade lines from the chart.

Show Profit on Trade Levels
Shows the profit from each trade on the right margin of its trade level. Can be shown as currency or percentage according to the user settings.

Close All Dark Rider Trades
Closes all trades the robot opened. Used mainly to close all trades on a retrace of some kind. Often used with the next option.

Activate 'Dark Rider' Take Profit
Set to No to deactivate the virtual take profit. Sometimes a retrace at London open or New York open happens in the direction of open 'Dark Rider' trades. You could deactivate the virtual take profit en close all trades by clicking the appropiate button. This is advanced use.

Show Closed Trades
Set to Yes to show closed trades

Show Bar Timer
Shows and hides a bar timer

Bottom line. Do not use the buttons if you are starting out with Dark Rider. Let the robot work for you. Use of buttons is for advanced users only.

hi @Paul Geirnaerdt great EA could you please add - MAX DD limitation (to protect capital from aggressive trend)

                                                                             -Trailling Stop (in loss or profit ) because in backtest i can see a lot of times hit Tp in Loss and after that rise to original  tp if we replaced Tralling Stop will limits the loss                                                                                   and increase profit

Thank you for your suggestions. As it happens all of them have been thoroughly researched and discarded as insignificant in terms of profitablity and return to drawdown. Almost no stone has been left unturned in the development of Dark Rider.

New version 1.3 has been published.

Added in this new version is the Negative Trend Early Avoidance system. It will exit early when a deep negative trend develops. Backtesting shows a significant rise in profitability.

NTEA will check for negative trends at a set amount of hours after Dark Riders nightly trading window. If the negative trend is big enough Dark Rider will abandon its trades.  New EURUSD M5 and GBPUSD M5 set files for v1.3 including NTEA are attached.

Alas, one bad day in June. In the wake of this drawdown  a new version of Dark Rider has been developed. This version features Negative Trend Early Avoidance (NTEA) and lowers drawdown with appoximately 75% while preserving profits. Be sure to download and install Dark Rider v1.3.

Version 1.4 published. Small issue has been corrected.
* Start hour and end hour settings optimized.

Please update if you have a start hour that is smaller than the end hour. (Eg. 23 and 1.)
