Bonjour,

buffer : chaque indicateur a plusieurs données sortantes, si on prend par exemple le bollinger band, on a une valeur pour la ligne supérieure, une autre de l'inférieur et une 3éme pour la centrale, ces resultats representent les buffers.

shift: est le numéro de la bougie qui va être testé dans la condition (la dernière est toujours la numéro 0).

value: est la valeur qu'on veut comparer par rapport a un buffer.

Hi,

Sure, add your indicators to the chart then click on refresh button, select your indicator and check the buffer dropdown( you need to know which buffer contain the value that you want to monitor) select the operator and the value then save your rule.

If you need more informations, please send me by message more details about the alert that you want to setup and your indicators name in order to help more.

first of all I would like to thank you for your great work on this indicator!

I have been looking for such a solution for an eternity.

I would like to test the purchased indicator with a whole simple alert.

Namely, I would like to use an EMA (indicator) and would like to receive an alert when the price crosses the EMA line up or down?

How to implement this with your indicator?

Good day and thank you for your comment,

The tool is sending alerts based on fixed buffers value, not comparing the indicator with other changing value like price or another indicator,

also the alert is based on time not market movement (Alert every minute or 15 minutes...) if the price cross the MA for example it will not be catched by the tool in time.

to fix these 2 points, I added a new operator called "Candle Cross" that will send/display the alert every time that the indicator crosses the candle , and I will publish the new version once I finish the testing

If I leave the Value value empty, I get the error message "The value can't be empty".

Hi,

The Buffer is the channel used by the indicator to send the values to other Metatrader tools (indicator, ea...), The tool will give you the value of actual buffer in the drop-down menu once selected, you can compare the values to the chart in order to understand which buffer to use.

Can you give me more details about the issue?

Do you have any messages in the Expert tab of Metatrader? Did you test the tool in another chart/symbol using the same or different rules?

Did you restart the Metatrader?

No it doesn't show any messages in expert tab and I tested it on USDJPY but same results.

I can get alerts on my phone but there is no on screen alerts

Is it possible to reinstall the indicator?

Hello,

please go to Metatrader Menu :

- File ->Open Data Folder

- open MQL4\Files then delete the folder created by the tool.

try to create a simple rule in a new chart based on Moving averege or RSI ( to check if the tool is working )
