I run more than one EA at a time so it always helps if there can be a user defined comment field.

If you don't like to do that, then a short name and the time frame helps sort results on demo and live testing.

Does the trade open as soon as the ma1 crosses the ma2, or does it wait

to open on the next bar. also same question if  using FMA.

Hello, the WaitForCrossBarClose setting controls that. You can set it to open immediately or to wait for the bar where the cross occurred to close first.

if MA crosses, there will be a new order opened. If MA crosses again to the other direction the order will stay open. But does it also buy a new order because of the MA direction change ?

This looks like what I am looking for. I'm not very savvy with the settings in the EA inputs. Just like to know if MA's cross then trade opens (I understand I can set it to open a trade on close of bar after cross). Then when they cross again, the trade is closed and a new trade is opened. If your robot does this, would you send me the settings to configure this after purchase. I'm ok with setting the MA periods.

Hello, note that the default settings are simply place holders. You can run or optimize the EA on strategy tester to get suitable settings for your account or discover new strategies.

Would be good to have one more tuning parameter for the amount of cross of the MAs before the buy/sell signal is initiated (sort of like a tolerance).

That way some false crossings are eliminated. I know this can be minimized by increasing the period of the MA, but then the "good" signals will also be delayed. By increasing the period of the MA, you get less "noise" but every signal then is slower to show.

I have the EA now, but paid twice, mql5 app should sort that.

Initial test going reasonably well, I like the trade to activate at crossover, some have been a little late and one on USD CHF didn't activate at all even though a red arrow was displayed on the chart.  But other pairs have worked well.

A question....The number of trades setting... does this refer to the number of trades on a single pair or across the whole platform?

Hello, you can set whether to wait for the bar where the cross occurred to close first or not. Kindly check the product page for a full description of the settings. Also note that most times a cross never occurs at the exact time a bar opens.
