Does the indicator have alerts?

Hi, Jabautista!

Thank you for the good idea. I just added alert option in the indicator. You can on/off. Also you can set the percentage % for the alert. By default it is 10%.

Thank you for adding the alert!  Unfortunately, when there's a signal, it alerts every second non stop.  Can you fix this?

This is the idea of the alert. When you reach a certain level, you receive a signal. After that, you can turn it off from the indicator settings.

Go to indicator settings / Inputs / ALERT / False

and the alert will stop.

I want the alert, but just once.  Not every second.

I am offering a new version. I have modified the alert so that it appears not on every tick but on a new candle. After all, this is an alert that should be active because it indicates something that needs attention. Naturally, once it serves its purpose, it can be stopped by the indicator. If a new alert is needed, you can set it up again.

Hi I am using your imbalance pro. you need to figure out something for the alert its a pain!

The alert should be sent once when the target % is reached ...then only again if it drops back below ot above the amount and getting the signal again!

Hello, Gabor, and thank you for noticing that.

I would like to clarify the exact logic behind the alert.

When an imbalance is measured, it is done under certain market conditions that we have decided to consider. Once an alert is triggered, it has done its job, and you can disable it. It is not necessary to keep it on because market conditions change, and what you are measuring is already different. The alert has already given you the signal.

If you decide to measure a different period afterward, you can turn it on again. This is a new measurement of imbalance.

The idea is that the alert is a one-time event because you are measuring a specific imbalance.

I have set it to appear every minute, just in case you missed it the first time. Once it has appeared, you don’t need it anymore, and you should disable it in the indicator settings. It has done its job.

This is not something that should be left on continuously.

I hope you understand.

Hi Ivan
I just bought your interesting indicator. I read in the instructions that there is a button on the top left to be able to do personal analysis by moving the blue bars, well no button appears to me, and I struggle a lot to move the blue bars.
I attach the graph as it appears to me without the button and with a pre-established period.

Hi!

Here is description how to consider:

  • We choose an important market point as the starting point of our analysis. It can be either a top or a bottom, depending on how we assess the current market situation.

  • We set the indicator’s line to start from this point. The indicator will calculate from this point up to the present moment.

  • The indicator automatically determines whether the volume is bullish or bearish and how it has changed, drawing rectangles in color accordingly. If the volume was bearish, the rectangle is red; if bullish – green.

  • You can combine it with other indicators. The idea is to sell while the volume is bearish and to buy while it is bullish.

  • In the indicator’s window, you will see how the volume has accumulated over time from the point you selected up to the current market moment. When it reaches 0, the volume will shift from bullish to bearish or vice versa.

  • Pay attention to the accumulated volume curve:

    • If it is green and rising, this indicates an increase in bullish volume. If it is falling, it indicates a decrease.

    • If it is red and rising, this indicates a decrease in bearish volume. If it is falling, it indicates an increase.
