The Automated EA program trades a basket of three currency pairs at the same time on the same account in a Fully Hedged Formation. The strategy is based on three currency pairs being traded concurrently when their prices are out of sync with each other to earn a profit. The program does not rely on latency between multiple accounts. The program is a fully automatic program requiring no user interaction once set up on a chart of choice. The program closes the basket of trades once the Profit Target in Overall Pips is met or when specially designed closing conditions are met.
The program is ideal for those looking for a low risk option in the market. By having three trades open at the same time in a fully hedged formation, a user is better protected by market fluctuations. Trade open time can be seconds to days with this program rather than just seconds like most Arbitrage programs. This is better because the program relies less on latency and execution rate than your typical Arbitrage or Scalper program. It is still recommended to pick a broker with low spreads and fast execution as they will play a role in both number of trades taken and profit earned.
Due to the nature of the strategy used to trade where three currency pairs are traded at once, please note that this program cannot be backtested using the strategy tester since only one pair of data can be backtested at a time. Backtesting was performed by the author with a self-written program using real tick data for all three default pairs: AUDUSD, EURUSD, and EURAUD. Results may vary based on broker fees and other market conditions. Due to the nature of the EA algorithmic calculations, the program is designed to be as efficient as possible thus you will not see a flashy display on the chart.
Please test for a minimum of 2-4 weeks before reviewing or upgrading, this EA trades on average 3-5 trades a week but also depends on broker. Please try multiple brokers to find best results. A broker with low spreads is ideal. A total of 2 sets of 3 trades can be open at one time with this EA. EA Profit Targets are based on USD based account, please modify as needed based on your currency. The Limited Version has protections to prevent abuse. It is only meant to be used as a way to test out the Premium Version. Don't have multiple EAs trading any of the three pairs on the same account or you may encounter issues.
Parameters (Some parameters are only for Premium Versions)
- EAcom - note made on each trade to identify trades.
- Magic - magic number to identify trades by EA
- MaxOrders - Maximum Number of orders than can be open at one time, Minimum of 3, Maximum of 15, needs to be a multiple of 3.
- FixedLotSize - fixed lot size per each pair in a trade.
- ProfitTargetPerLot - General base target of profit in dollars/currency of account per 1 Lot to close trade. EA will use this as a general setpoint but will change target based on market conditions.
- LossTargetPerLot - How much maximum loss in dollars/currency of account per 1 Lot to close trade. Will generally close trades before this point is hit.
- TickCountSpacing - Minimum number of ticks between open trades.
- SignalStrength - Recommended range of 0-10, higher value = stronger signal and less trades.
- Pair1 - name of first pair to trade AAABBB. Must match chart name if you have a prefix or suffix.
- Pair2 - name of second pair to trade AAACCC or CCCAAA. Must match chart name if you have a prefix or suffix.
- Pair2_Buy - determines direction of trade relative to Pair1, set to true if CCCAAA or false for AAACCC.
- Pair3 - name of third pair to trad BBBCCC or CCCBBB. Must match chart name if you have a prefix or suffix.
- Pair3_Buy - determines direction of trade relative to Pair1, set to true if BBBCCC or false for CCCBBB.
Additional Protections Built into the Program Include
- A hard TP and SL price are set with each trade opened in the event of very large market swings or loss of connection with the broker’s server.
- Automatic closing of all trades when less than three trades remain open or if a trade fails to open when the program tries to open the basket of trades. This is important to know as you can manually close one trade and the program will close the other trades immediately to preserve profits and protect the account.
Recommendations on Usage
- Run on the chart that has the most ticks, in the default case, the EURAUD chart will generally see more ticks than the other pairs.
- A timeframe does not matter, the EA uses ticks to trade.
- Start Risk small to watch program in action and determine if broker you are using will be profitable.
- Keep Risk low to protect your account from drawdown.
- Do not close trades over weekend as profit can be lost.
- Low spreads, low commission and high quality execution will help earn more profit.
- Minimum of $200 USD deposit on account to run, but depends on pairs being used.
- Run EA on its own account as it will use a large amount of margin per trade basket based on risk.
- Do not have any other trades open on the account while using this EA to avoid conflicts.
