YZH Aurix – Momentum System for Gold (XAUUSD)

YZH Aurix is a fully automated Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5, built for traders who want a clear, rules-based approach to gold. It does not use martingale, grid or averaging. Every trade is a single position with a fixed stop loss and take profit from the moment it opens.

How it works

  • Aurix monitors a smoothed momentum model on the signal timeframe (M10 by default) and enters when momentum shifts direction.
  • An optional higher-timeframe confirmation (M20 by default) filters out entries that go against the broader momentum.
  • The stop loss is set from current volatility (ATR), so risk adapts to market conditions instead of using a fixed pip value.
  • The take profit is a fixed multiple of the stop distance (2:1 by default).
  • Only one trade is open at a time.

What to expect
Aurix is a reward-to-risk system, not a high win-rate system. With the default settings, fewer than half of trades are winners. Winning trades are on average about twice the size of losing ones, so results depend on a series of trades rather than any single one. Losing streaks and losing months are a normal part of how the system works.

Recommended setup

  • Symbol: XAUUSD
  • Chart: any timeframe (signals use the selected signal timeframe)
  • Minimum balance: 1,000 USD at 1% risk per trade (lower balances will run at the broker’s minimum lot)
  • Low-spread account and VPS recommended
