Smart trend trading for XAUUSD

BitMA Gold EA is a trend-following Expert Advisor for gold. It reads market direction with its own Bit-Trend engine, calculated inside the EA. It confirms entries with moving average and Bollinger Band filters, and it manages open positions with an optional grid and a hedge recovery mode.

How it trades

Entry modes

  • Trend Shift: it trades once, when the trend changes direction.
  • Trend Continues: it follows the current trend and trades only in that direction.

Entry filters

  • EMA filter: buys only when the fast EMA is above the slow EMA, and sells only when it is below.
  • Bollinger Bands filter: blocks buys after the last candle breaks the upper band, and blocks sells after it breaks the lower band.
  • News filter: pauses new entries around important news, using the currencies of your symbol.
  • Session filter: trade only during Sydney, Tokyo, London or New York hours.
  • Trading day filter: choose which days of the week the EA may open trades.

All time-based filters adjust to your broker’s server time automatically, so you don’t enter any time offsets.

Position management

  • Stop loss and take profit in fixed points or by ATR
  • Break-even and trailing stop
  • Optional grid with martingale, a fixed distance between orders and an average take profit
  • Drawdown reduction, which closes the oldest losing orders together with profitable ones
  • Hedge recovery with its own trend and EMA settings, which closes all positions once your profit target is reached

Requirements

  • Hedging account (for DD reduction/Hedging position)
  • Recommended symbol: XAUUSD
  • Recommended timeframe: M1 - M15 depend on your setting
  • Recommended minimum deposit: $5000 or 5000 cent
  • The news filter uses the MT5 economic calendar, so it works on live and demo charts but not in the Strategy Tester.
