BitGold MT5 is a fully automated MT5 Expert Advisor built on two proven trend-following concepts: the Turtle Channels breakout system and the Bit-Trend trend detection regime indicator. It trades only on closed-bar signals, so entries do not repaint. It includes a complete risk and position-management toolkit.
How it trades
Selectable entry logic. Choose between:
- Tutrle Channel entries: Long and Short Entry signals from the Turtle Channels breakout logic, with configurable entry and exit channel lengths.
- Bit-Trend entries: Buy and Sell signals from the Bit-Trend trend detector on the chart timeframe.
Independent trend filter on any timeframe. Optionally allow buys only while Bit-Trend is bullish and sells only while it is bearish. The filter runs on its own custom timeframe with its own length, so you can, for example, trade M15 entries in the direction of an H1 or H4 trend. The regime flips only when the opposite Bit-Trend signal appears.
Flexible exits.
- Auto close by Turtle Channel: Exit Long closes buys, Exit Short closes sells.
- Auto close by Bit-Trend: a Buy signal closes sells and a Sell signal closes buys. You can follow either the chart-timeframe or the filter-timeframe Bit-Trend.
- Both can be combined, or auto close can be switched off.
Risk and position management
- Lot sizing: fixed lot, or risk percent of balance based on the stop-loss distance.
- SL / TP: fixed points or ATR multiples, each switchable to "none".
- Breakeven and trailing stop for single positions, with trigger, offset, distance and step settings.
- Maximum spread filter and a margin check before every order.
Grid, martingale and drawdown reduction (optional, off by default)
- Grid: adds positions at a set distance, with limits on total orders and total lot size. Orders can be restricted to the open of a new candle.
- Martingale: lot multiplier starting from a chosen order number.
- Average take profit: one common TP for the whole basket at the weighted average price plus a set number of points.
- Stop-loss rule: a single position keeps its normal SL. Once grid positions exist, all SLs are removed, so the basket is managed by the average TP, DD reduction and your order and lot limits.
- DD reduction algorithm: when a basket reaches a chosen size, it closes the oldest losing orders together with the fewest profitable ones, once the combined result reaches a set percentage of balance.
