Ai Capital Bitcoin Grid Guard is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor that combines trend and pullback entries with coordinated grid management. Designed for Bitcoin trading, it brings entry confirmation, position sizing and basket exits into one automated process.

Its central principle is to calculate planned exposure for the complete trading basket before the first entry. Each basket operates with a shared stop level, a defined monetary target and a limited number of entry stages.

Trading approach

The Expert Advisor evaluates completed H1 candles for trend direction and pullback confirmation. It can trade both buying and selling opportunities when its conditions are satisfied.

If price moves against the initial entry, additional entries require sufficient price distance, directional confirmation and successful risk and margin checks. Volatility-based spacing adapts the distance between grid stages to market conditions.

A basket is a group of entries managed together. Each basket allows up to four entry stages, with a common stop level and a shared monetary exit target.

On hedging accounts, entries can remain separate positions. On netting accounts, entries in the same direction are combined into one position.

Position sizing and basket management

The risk budget is calculated at the beginning of each basket using the lower of account balance and equity. It remains fixed until that basket closes. Position sizing is recalculated for subsequent baskets as account funds change.

Additional entries must remain within the planned risk allowance. The shared stop is not moved farther away to accommodate them.

The basket profit target is twice its initial risk budget. This is a monetary exit objective for the complete basket, not a guaranteed return or a separate 2:1 target for every entry.

The default planned risk is 10% per basket. This is an aggressive setting and can be reduced in the inputs. Position sizes can increase between grid stages, making this a grid strategy with increasing exposure.

Daily trading controls

The Expert Advisor permits a maximum of two new basket start attempts per broker-server day. This limit does not guarantee daily trades; a basket may also contain several entries.

After a basket closes with a net loss, new baskets are paused for the remainder of that day. Configurable entry hours and scheduled closing controls support intraday operation. Market closures or execution interruptions may delay exits.

Setup and operating requirements

Attach the Expert Advisor to your broker’s Bitcoin chart and enable algorithmic trading. H1 data is used internally. The program operates on its attached chart symbol; suitability for other instruments has not been established.

Use one instance per symbol and avoid combining it with manual trading or other Expert Advisors on that symbol, particularly on netting accounts.

Keep MetaTrader 5 or your VPS running and connected. Basket profit-taking and scheduled exits require the Expert Advisor to remain active. The shared stop loss is submitted to the broker.

Configure trading costs and session times for your account. Required capital depends on contract specifications, minimum volume, margin and risk settings. Entries are skipped when the permitted volume is below the broker’s minimum.

Grid trading can accumulate exposure during adverse price movements. Gaps, slippage and trading costs may cause actual losses to exceed the planned risk budget. Profitability and capital protection are not guaranteed.

Evaluate the Expert Advisor in the Strategy Tester and on a demo account using your broker’s conditions before considering live trading.
