GOLD TRIPLE CANDLE EA
A rule-based expert advisor for gold that waits for one specific,
measurable event: a run of same-coloured candles whose combined size
falls inside a points window you define. No indicators to lag, no
opinion, no guesswork. If the run is too small it is ignored. If it is
too large it is ignored. Only a move of the right shape and the right
size opens a trade.
Every setup the EA considers is drawn on your chart, including the ones
it rejected and why. You are never asked to trust a black box.
THE IDEA
Gold moves in impulses. A clean sequence of three candles in the same
direction, covering a controlled distance, marks the point where an
impulse has committed but has not yet exhausted itself. Too little
range and there is no impulse. Too much and you are buying the top of
one.
Gold Triple Candle EA measures that sequence to the point, applies a
set of shape filters to throw out indecisive candles, and then commits
with a full trade plan already attached: stop, target, a management
ladder, and a defined response if the trade goes wrong.
TWO COMPLETE PLANS, INCLUDED AND READY
The EA ships with tested preset files you can load in one click:
Plan A - M1 original
One position per signal on the M1 chart. Direct, fast, and simple
to follow.
Plan B - M5 five positions
Five positions from one signal on M5, taken off one at a time as
the move develops, so a single good impulse is harvested in stages
instead of all at one price.
Validated - M5
The full validated M5 configuration.
You are not left to guess a starting point. Load a preset and the EA is
configured.
THE SIGNAL, UNDER YOUR CONTROL
- Run length from 2 to 8 candles. Three is the default, not a limit.
- Any signal timeframe.
- Combined size measured two ways: as one block from the highest high
to the lowest low, or as the sum of each candle's own range.
- A minimum and maximum size in points, with separate tolerance
margins above and below if you want a soft edge instead of a hard
one.
- Maximum upper and lower wick as a fraction of each candle.
- A minimum body ratio to insist on conviction.
- Optional requirement that a wick exists on the signal side.
- Follow mode or Reverse mode: a bullish run can buy, or it can sell.
SPINNING TOP REJECTION
Indecisive candles are the quiet killer of candle-sequence systems.
This EA hunts them specifically. A run can be rejected if any candle is
a spinning top, defined by body fraction, minimum wick fraction, an
absolute body size in points, or an absolute total candle size in
points. You can allow a spinning top as the first candle of a run,
where it often signals the turn rather than hesitation, and you can
enable or disable the whole filter per day of the week, because Monday
does not trade like Thursday.
Runs that were rejected only by the spinning top rule are drawn on your
chart in a separate colour, so you can see exactly what the filter cost
you and what it saved you.
STOPS AND TARGETS, FOUR WAYS
Stop loss measured as fixed points from entry, a percentage of balance,
a distance inside the candle box from its far line, or a multiple of
ATR. The box stop can itself use an ATR distance, and a negative offset
places it beyond the box rather than inside it.
Take profit as fixed points, a percentage of balance, or an ATR
multiple.
The stop is never left to be added later. It goes on with the order.
EIGHT-STEP TRADE MANAGEMENT
A full management ladder with eight independent steps. Each step has
its own profit trigger in points and can move the stop to its own
offset from entry, close a percentage of the volume, or both.
That single structure gives you break-even moves, staged trailing,
partial profit taking, and a runner left to work, all configured
without writing a line of code. Partial percentages can be taken from
the remaining volume or the original volume, and a reporting mode
prints the money each partial actually banked.
With several positions open, the steps can run independently on each
position, or treat the whole signal as one basket where a close step
retires one entire position at a time. Basket steps are measured from
the group's entry average, frozen once when the group is formed, so
your ladder does not drift as positions are closed.
Every active step level is drawn on the chart, and each one changes
colour the moment it is taken.
SAFE MODE
The candle immediately after entry tells you a great deal. Safe Mode
reads it and closes a trade that has already been contradicted, instead
of paying the full stop to learn the same thing later.
You can require that the candle closes past the midpoint of the box,
allow a wick through the box line to keep the trade alive, or demand a
strict close across the box line regardless of candle colour. Safe Mode
can be switched on or off for each day of the week.
RECOVERY AFTER A STOP LOSS, DONE PROPERLY
When a stop is hit, the level that stopped you is often the level the
market is about to break. The recovery module places two pending orders
around that area to catch the move if it resumes.
This is not a martingale. There is no lot multiplication, no grid, and
no averaging down anywhere in this EA. The recovery orders use your
entry lot or a fixed lot you set, and they carry a stop and a target of
their own.
- Place the two orders from the stop level or from the box line.
- Distances in points or as ATR multiples, set independently.
- Reference the far side of the box or the entry side.
- Their own stop loss and their own take profit, so a recovery leg is
never sent chasing the original entry's target.
- A lifetime in minutes, after which they are cancelled.
- Trigger only on a real losing stop, not on a break-even exit.
- Ignore a stop loss that is older than a chosen age.
- Hold mode: once filled, only its own stop or target closes it.
- Lock out every new signal while a recovery cycle is live.
- Optionally let even the daily limit leave a recovery trade alone.
A recovery cycle is a closed, deliberate sequence with a defined
ending. It is not an open-ended attempt to trade out of a loss.
DAILY LIMITS AND RISK CONTROL
- Maximum daily loss and maximum daily profit, each in account
currency or as a percentage of the day's starting balance.
- Floating profit and loss optionally counted toward the daily total.
- Automatically close open trades when a limit is reached.
- Define the server hour at which your trading day starts.
- Maximum spread filter, maximum slippage, maximum trades per day,
and a minimum number of bars between two entries.
- A cap on total open positions and on positions per signal.
- A defined response when a box appears against an open trade: ignore
it, close and take the new signal, close and stand aside, or open
alongside on a hedging account.
TRADING HOURS
Four independent time windows per day, each in server time, plus a
switch for every day of the week. When a window closes you decide what
happens: leave the trades to their stop and target, close the open
positions, or close them and delete the waiting orders as well.
Nothing is ever sent into a closed market. Work that is waiting is
picked up on the first pass after the market opens.
EXECUTION AND SAFETY
Orders fail. Brokers reject. Requotes happen. Most EAs assume success
and move on.
This one does not. Every action is read back from the server and
verified, anything that did not land is repaired, each order is retried
up to a limit you set, and there is a cooldown before a failed action
is attempted again. Invalid expiration settings and other broker-side
rejections are handled and reported in plain language rather than a
raw error code.
THE CHART YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO LOOK AT
- Every qualifying run boxed, with separate colours for runs that
traded, runs that qualified but did not trade, and runs that only
the spinning top filter rejected.
- A live box that moves with the sequence currently being measured,
so you can watch a setup form in real time.
- The measured high and low of each run drawn, so you can see exactly
what was tested against your points window.
- Entry, stop and target lines with an arrow at entry.
- The full management step ladder drawn and updated as steps are
taken.
- Closed trades redrawn from history as complete trade records.
- Historical setups scanned and boxed across thousands of past
candles the moment the EA loads, so you can review the strategy on
your own chart before you risk anything.
- An optional black theme applied automatically.
Chart objects are cleaned up correctly. Lines belonging to a closed
trade are removed the moment it closes, even when one trade closes and
another opens in the same tick.
CONTROL PANEL AND MANUAL TRADING
A docked on-chart panel, left or right, with adjustable width, margin
and font scale, showing the live state of the signal, the session, the
daily limits, the spread, open positions and pending orders.
Manual trade buttons with a lot stepper let you take a trade by hand
with the EA's full management applied to it. A confirmation click is
required before Close All, and a click guard ignores accidental
double presses.
BILINGUAL INTERFACE
Every input, every panel label and every message is written in both
English and Arabic. Full Arabic support is built in, not bolted on.
NOTIFICATIONS
Pop-up alerts for the events that matter, including a summary pop-up
when the EA starts so you can confirm at a glance that it loaded with
the settings you intended.

IMPORTANT
Trading carries risk. Past performance and backtest results do not
guarantee future results. Test any configuration on a demo account
