Aurum Bullion is a fully automated Expert Advisor built exclusively for trading Gold (XAUUSD) on MetaTrader 5. It is a systematic, multi-zone breakout and scalping engine with built-in news and session filtering, dynamic risk-based position sizing, and a defined stop loss on every trade.

From the Developer

As a Software Engineer with extensive experience building mission-critical software systems — where reliability, precision, and robust engineering are non-negotiable — this product marks my first step into algorithmic trading and trading-robot development.

I approached its development with the same engineering discipline I apply to critical systems: structured research, rigorous testing, iterative optimization, and continuous refinement. Aurum Bullion was built using a combination of machine-learning techniques, data analysis, and algorithmic trading logic, and has been validated through extensive backtesting across a full 13-month market cycle.

This is my first publicly released trading robot. Three additional robots, built on different strategies and approaches, are currently in development and will be released separately once testing is complete.

Launch offer: for the initial release, Aurum Bullion is available at a significantly discounted introductory price, limited to the first 10 subscribers. After that, the price increases to approximately three times the introductory rate. This window exists to give early users access to the finished product at a meaningfully lower cost before standard pricing takes effect.

How It Works

• Six-zone entry system (Seam, Vein, Lode, Ingot, Bar, Bullion), independently configurable, with a confirmation-based fakeout filter before entry
• Runs on the H1 timeframe, engineered specifically around gold's volatility profile

Risk & Trade Management

• Stop loss on every trade — the default configuration uses no martingale and no unlimited grid recovery
• Choice of fixed lot size or dynamic risk-% based position sizing
• Optional break-even and trailing stop management
• Portfolio-level hard equity stop-loss — an account-wide safeguard that flattens open exposure if floating equity drawdown crosses a defined threshold, independent of individual trade stops
• Maximum spread filter to avoid trading during poor liquidity

Built-in Protections

• Automatic high-impact news filter (NFP and other major releases), with configurable pre/post-news blackout windows
• Session filter — trade only during Asia, London, NY, or session-overlap hours
• Holiday and weekend-close handling
• Auto-detects broker GMT offset

Requirements

• MetaTrader 5, hedging or netting account
• Recommended: VPS for uninterrupted execution
• Minimum starting balance: Recomended: 100$; at 0.01 lots (see Backtest & Risk Notes for what this means in practice)

Backtest & Risk Notes

Backtested on GOLD.i, H1, real ticks, over a 13-month period (Aug 2025 – Aug 2026), starting balance $40:

• Net profit over the test period: $4,838.18
• Profit Factor: 3.74 | Recovery Factor: 18.52
• 619 trades, 57% overall win rate, Growth > 100 Times the initial balance
• Maximum balance drawdown: 3.72% — the account balance itself stayed relatively stable throughout
• Maximum equity drawdown reached 45.33% of a local peak-Initial Balance ($31.36) — this reflects the deepest floating dip during open trades before recovery, and is disclosed so buyers understand the full risk profile, not just the upside

This backtest ran with the EA's optional recovery/hedge module disabled. Aurum Bullion includes an advanced recovery-hedge feature that is not active in this configuration or result set. Users are Recomended to Use the Default settings. In case of change in any parameters value/setting it is suggested to test run on Demo first.

Past backtest performance does not guarantee future results. Live and forward-tested results will differ from backtested results due to slippage, spread, latency, and changing market conditions. We recommend starting on a demo account or with minimum viable live capital before scaling up, and never allocating money you cannot afford to lose.
