MTF SuperTrend AutoSync
MTF SuperTrend AutoSync plots the classic SuperTrend indicator calculated from a higher (or any chosen) timeframe, while displaying it seamlessly on your current chart — no manual switching between timeframes required.
Unlike a standard SuperTrend, this version pulls its ATR, high, and low data directly from the timeframe you select in the settings, then automatically syncs and redraws it bar-by-bar on your active chart. This lets you see the bigger-picture trend structure (e.g., an H1 or H4 SuperTrend) while trading on a lower timeframe, without needing multiple chart windows open.
Key Features:
- Multi-Timeframe Sync — calculates SuperTrend on any timeframe (M1 to MN1) and displays it accurately on your current chart
- ATR-Based Trend Bands — uses a configurable ATR period and multiplier to build dynamic support/resistance bands
- Clear Bullish/Bearish Coloring — blue line marks bullish support, red line marks bearish resistance, so trend direction is visible at a glance
- Band-Locking Logic — prevents the trend line from jumping erratically, keeping the support/resistance bands stable until a genuine trend reversal occurs
- Lightweight & Efficient — only recalculates new bars, keeping performance smooth even on fast timeframes
- Auto-Updating Name Tag — the indicator's short name displays which timeframe is currently active
Inputs:
- SuperTrend Timeframe — the timeframe used for calculation (default: H1)
- ATR Period — number of bars used for the ATR calculation (default: 10)
- Multiplier — ATR multiplier that controls how wide the trend bands are (default: 3.0)
How to Use:
Add the indicator to any chart. It will fetch and calculate SuperTrend values from your selected timeframe and plot them on your current chart. When price is above the trend line, the blue "Bullish Support" line is shown; when price is below, the red "Bearish Resistance" line appears — giving you an instant, higher-timeframe trend bias without leaving your working chart.
