RiftFade Pro is a fully automated Expert Advisor built around one of the most persistent, statistically recurring behaviors in price action: the tendency of markets to return and fill the gaps they leave behind. Where most traders watch gaps form and hesitate, RiftFade Pro identifies them instantly, maps the exact untraded price territory they create, and manages the entire trade lifecycle around the moment price comes back to close that gap.
A price gap — whether from a session open, a liquidity vacuum, a news spike, or an overnight jump — leaves behind an area where no real trading occurred. That area behaves differently than normal price structure: it acts as a magnet, then frequently as a wall. RiftFade Pro is engineered to detect that exact zone the moment it forms, visualize it directly on your chart in real time, and wait patiently for price to return into it before acting — rather than chasing the initial move blindly.
How It Works
On every new candle, RiftFade Pro compares the current bar's opening price against the prior bar's close. When the distance between them exceeds your configured minimum threshold, a gap is confirmed. You can require the candle to close beyond the gap edge before validation, filtering out wick-only noise and false signals that would otherwise trap a less selective system. Once validated, the exact top and bottom of the gap are drawn as a live rectangle on the chart, clearly separating "filled" and "unfilled" territory in distinct colors so you always know, at a glance, exactly what the EA is watching.
From there, RiftFade Pro offers three independent trading philosophies, switchable with a single input: Fade Mode, which trades the classic reversal as price re-enters and rejects from the gap zone — the core behavior this system is named for; Breakout Mode, which instead trades continuation if price drives cleanly through the zone rather than respecting it; and Combined Mode, which blends both behaviors for traders who want coverage regardless of which way the zone resolves. Entries only trigger once price has penetrated a configurable percentage into the zone, so you are never buying or selling at the very first tag — the system waits for meaningful engagement with the level.
Risk Is Never an Afterthought
Every trade RiftFade Pro places is sized either as a fixed lot or, more powerfully, as a precise percentage of account risk — calculated dynamically from your real stop-loss distance, tick value, and current balance, so position size adjusts automatically as your account grows or contracts. Stop-loss placement is anchored structurally beyond the far edge of the gap zone rather than an arbitrary pip count, meaning your risk is defined by market structure, not guesswork. Take-profit is derived from a configurable reward-to-risk multiple, and once a trade moves into profit, an optional breakeven step and a fully configurable trailing stop take over to protect gains without requiring you to sit at the screen.
Built-in filters guard against poor execution conditions: a maximum spread ceiling prevents entries during illiquid or volatile spread spikes, an optional session-hour filter restricts trading to your preferred market hours, and a maximum concurrent trades limit keeps exposure controlled at all times. A dedicated magic number ensures RiftFade Pro never interferes with other EAs or manual trades running on the same account.
A Dashboard Built for Serious Traders
RiftFade Pro doesn't just trade — it reports. A professional on-chart dashboard, rendered as a bordered, color-coded panel rather than a simple text block, displays your active symbol and timeframe, the current trading mode, live status (scanning versus in-trade), total gaps detected, total gaps filled, active positions, total trades taken, running win rate, and closed profit and loss — all updating in real time, every second, whether or not a new tick has arrived.
