Overview

SHOOTING is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 built around a proprietary trend-momentum detection engine that identifies medium-to-long-term directional shifts in the market. The EA is designed with multiple layers of risk control — from single-order level all the way up to full-portfolio level — and comes with an on-chart graphical dashboard that displays account status and multi-timeframe trend bias in real time.

Recommendations

• Always run a Strategy Tester backtest over several years of historical data, followed by forward testing on a demo account, before deploying on a live account
• Tune the entry sensitivity, RR levels, and profit/loss target percentages to match the specific pair and timeframe you intend to trade — the default values are provided as a starting template only
• Keep the Exposure/Margin Cap enabled at all times on live accounts to prevent the portfolio from opening more exposure than the account can safely support
• Run the EA on a stable, low-latency VPS to ensure uninterrupted 24-hour operation
• Choose a broker with tight spreads and fast order execution, since entry confirmation relies on completed price bars

Risk Warnings

• Past backtest results do not guarantee future performance — live market liquidity and volatility conditions differ from historical data
• The entry logic reacts to confirmed price/trend shifts and therefore carries an inherent lag relative to price, which can produce false signals during sideways or choppy market conditions
• The percentage-based and daily/cycle money-management features are discipline tools, not a guarantee against losses
• Understand the impact of your Initial Lot Size setting on margin usage before going live — an oversized lot relative to account equity can bring the account closer to a stop-out than expected
• Automated trading carries inherent risk. Only trade with capital you can afford to lose, and never with funds required for essential living expenses
