Northstar Flow Arrow Trader MT5 is an Expert Advisor for traders who want to evaluate automated entries and position management based on the Northstar Flow approach.

This is an automated trading tool. Review the direction, fixed volume, filters and exit settings in the Strategy Tester before allowing it to trade a demo account.

Configuration areas

  • Flow signal settings: EMA, ATR, ADX, candle-body, breakout and signal-spacing inputs.
  • Optional range/choppiness, higher-timeframe Ichimoku and Fibonacci entry filters.
  • Fixed-volume sizing, stop and target settings, break-even and trailing controls.
  • Optional MACD or Parabolic SAR exit confirmation and a strategy magic number.

Start with a reproducible test

  1. Download the Market demo and select this Expert Advisor in the desktop MT5 Strategy Tester.
  2. Use XAUUSD H1 as the product's documented starting context. Save the exact inputs and broker symbol specification.
  3. Review Trade Direction, Fixed Lot, Stop Loss ATR Multiple and Reward Risk Ratio before running the test.
  4. Check filters, break-even, trailing and auto-close mode separately. Examine losing periods and the tester journal as well as the summary.

Testing and limitations

The existing example profile uses XAUUSD H1, 1 January 2025 to 21 August 2026, Every tick modelling, a 10,000 USD deposit, 1:100 leverage and ideal zero-latency execution. These are historical test assumptions, not live execution conditions or expected returns.

Use realistic spread, commission, slippage and execution assumptions for your own tests. Broker data, contract specifications and settings can change results. Stop and risk settings do not eliminate losses. No profit or performance is guaranteed.

Keep the initial evaluation in the Strategy Tester and a verified demo environment. You remain responsible for position size, broker permissions, terminal connection and any decision to enable trading.

Installation and support

Install from the Market section of desktop MetaTrader 5 using the MQL5 account that acquired the product. A paid Market demo is evaluated in the Strategy Tester; it is not a full-version chart installation.

For setup or technical help, use this product's Comments tab or MQL5 messages to JojoBar. Include the product version, terminal build, symbol, timeframe, inputs and steps to reproduce the issue. Remove private account information from screenshots.
