Swap Hunter EA MT5

Swap Hunter EA is a fully automated Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. It is designed to identify positive swap conditions based on the current broker swap values and manage trades according to configurable filters and risk settings.

The EA can scan multiple symbols, compare swap values and apply additional filters before opening a position. Swap values, spreads and trading conditions can vary depending on the broker and account type.

How the Strategy Works

When a position is held overnight, a swap or rollover value may be charged or credited by the broker. Depending on the symbol, position direction and broker conditions, the swap value can be positive or negative.

Swap Hunter EA reads the current swap values from the broker and can select a trade direction based on the available swap information. The EA also supports the broker-defined triple swap day.

Main Features

Swap Detection

The EA reads the current long and short swap values from the broker and can use this information to determine the preferred trade direction.

Multi-Symbol Scan

The EA can scan up to 10 symbols and compare available swap conditions.

Trade Score

Each setup can be evaluated with a configurable score based on swap, spread, trend, ADX, volatility and triple swap day settings. Trades are opened only if the minimum score requirement is met.

Triple Swap Day

The EA can detect the broker-defined triple swap day and use it as an optional filter.

Risk Modes

The EA includes Conservative, Normal and Aggressive risk modes. These modes can adjust selected filter settings according to the selected profile.

Safe Mode

Safe Mode can activate multiple protection settings at the same time.

Risk Management

The EA includes equity stop, equity peak drawdown control, daily loss limit, daily profit target, loss streak protection, maximum floating loss, spread filter and margin check.

Swap Flip Protection

The EA can close a position if the swap value for the current direction becomes negative.

Entry Filters

Available filters include EMA 200 trend filter, ADX filter, ATR volatility filter, spread filter, swap to spread ratio, time filter, weekday filter and optional triple swap day filter.

Trade Management

The EA supports break-even, trailing stop, close after swap, maximum holding time and optional Friday close.

Dashboard

The chart panel displays symbol information, selected risk mode, swap values, preferred direction, spread, triple swap day status, trend filter, ADX, volatility, trade score, active position, daily P/L, equity drawdown, server time and UTC time.

Chart Objects

The EA can draw entry and exit arrows directly on the chart.

CSV Export

Trade data and filter decisions can be exported to a CSV file. The export can include date, symbol, direction, lot size, swap values, spread, score, trade status and reason.

Alerts

The EA supports popup alerts, push notifications and email alerts for selected events such as opened trades, booked swap, negative swap, equity stop and daily limit.

Broker Notes

Swap values and rollover rules vary by broker and account type. Hedging accounts are recommended. Netting accounts can be supported if enabled in the settings. Please check the swap values and trading conditions of your broker before using the EA.

Recommended Use

The EA should be tested in the Strategy Tester and on a demo account before live trading. Users should adjust all settings according to their broker, symbol conditions, account type and personal risk tolerance.
