Overview

The Currency Strength Meter Dashboard is a professional-grade MetaTrader 4 (MT4) indicator developed by fxsignalspot.com. It provides traders with a comprehensive, real-time view of currency strength across 8 major currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, CAD, AUD, JPY, NZD) and 28 currency pairs. The indicator features an interactive on-chart dashboard with multiple display modes, customizable color-coded strength zones, trend/range meters, trade bias signals, and alert functionality.

Key Features

1. Currency Strength Index (CSI)

  • Calculates real-time strength values for all 8 major currencies based on their position within daily ranges

  • Customizable currency pairs selection using shorthand notation (e.g., "GU,UF,EU,UJ")

  • Strength values displayed on a scale of 0-9 with color-coded levels

2. Interactive Dashboard

  • Three display modes: Default Pairs, Priority Table (Incoming Trades/Range Meter), and Favorite Pairs

3. Trade Bias Indicator

4. Trend & Range Meters

  • Incoming Trades Meter: Filters pairs within customizable strength ranges (default 50-90%)

  • Range Meter: Identifies ranging pairs within defined strength bands (default 20-49%)

  • Strong/Weak currency filtering for precise trade selection

5. Customizable Strength Zones

  • 4 configurable strength levels with individual colors:

    • Zone 1 (≥7.0): Red - Very Strong

    • Zone 2 (≥5.0): Orange - Strong

    • Zone 3 (≥2.0): Yellow - Moderate

    • Zone 4 (≥0.0): Dodger Blue - Weak

6. Alert System

  • Configurable alerts based on Strong/Weak currency thresholds

How It Works

  1. Strength Calculation: Each currency's strength is derived from its position within the daily range (High-Low) across all configured pairs

  2. Pair Strength: Calculated as the relative difference between base and quote currency strengths, expressed as a percentage

  3. Trade Bias: Determined by comparing base vs. quote currency strength

  4. Filtering: Pairs are filtered through strength/weakness thresholds for signal generation
