How It Works

At its core, PiggybackHedger builds directional trade baskets — independently for buys and sells — within user-defined price ranges. When price moves against an open position by a configured grid distance, the EA adds the next level to the basket at a calculated volume, progressively averaging down towards a shared take profit. Each basket tracks its own average entry price, accumulated swap, commission, and unrealised P&L, and closes cleanly as a unit once the target is reached.

The EA offers three grid calculation modes: a fixed volume list, a list combined with a multiplier, or a pure multiplier-per-level approach — giving you full control over how aggressively the basket scales. Volume per level, maximum levels, grid spacing, and TP targets are all independently optimisable.
