SumerianTrader AA is a fully automated, pure Price Action Expert Advisor engineered specifically for Gold (XAUUSD) on the M5 timeframe. It requires zero lagging indicators — no RSI, no MACD, no moving averages. Every decision is made purely from raw market structure, candlestick patterns, and key Support/Resistance levels, exactly the way professional manual traders operate.

This EA was built to outperform generic grid and martingale bots flooding the market. It trades smart, trades safe, and protects capital above all else.

Step 1 — Higher Timeframe Trend Filter (H1)

Before any trade is considered, the EA scans the H1 chart for a confirmed trend using swing structure analysis:

•       Uptrend: Higher Highs + Higher Lows → Only BUY signals accepted

•       Downtrend: Lower Highs + Lower Lows → Only SELL signals accepted

•       No clear structure: EA stays out of the market entirely

This filter prevents counter-trend entries — one of the most common causes of retail trader account blow-ups.

Step 2 — Price Action Entry Signal (M5)

On the M5 chart, the EA detects two high-probability candlestick patterns on closed candles only (zero repainting):

Bullish / Bearish Engulfing

A candle that fully engulfs the body of the previous candle, confirming a sharp momentum shift. The engulfing candle must be at least 10% larger than the prior candle body to qualify.

Pin Bar (Hammer / Shooting Star)

A candle with a rejection wick at least 2× the size of its body, signaling a sharp reversal from a price level. Only high-quality pin bars with a small opposing wick are accepted.

Step 3 — Support & Resistance Confirmation

The signal candle must form at or near a local S/R level identified from the last 20 M5 bars. A buy signal must appear near swing support; a sell signal near swing resistance. This confluence filter dramatically reduces false signals.

Step 4 — Trade Execution

Entry is executed at candle close — the exact moment the pattern is confirmed. Instant market execution with pre-calculated SL and auto TP. One trade at a time. No stacking, no averaging.

Breakeven Protection

Once price moves 50% of the SL distance in profit (configurable via InpBEtrigger), the Stop Loss is automatically moved to entry price + 1 point. The trade becomes completely risk-free from that point forward.

Trailing Stop

A dynamic trailing stop continuously locks in profits as price moves in the trade's direction. The trail distance equals the original SL and moves in configurable step sizes (InpTrailStep) to avoid premature stop-outs from natural market noise.

Spread Protection

Gold spreads can spike dramatically during news events or low-liquidity periods. The EA checks the live spread before every potential entry and refuses to open a trade if it exceeds InpMaxSpread. This single feature alone can save significant capital over time.

No Dangerous Logic

✗     No Martingale — lot size never increases after a loss

✗     No Grid — no stacking of multiple positions

✗     No Averaging Down — one clean trade at a time

✗     No Counter-Trend Entries — structure filter enforced at all times
